Last time I checked, people have different opinions. Sorry, the world isn't centered around your opinions. And how am I to know that you're a girl? Does it even matter? But you're saying that we shouldn't vote for Hilary because she's a woman, and you're saying that we shouldn't vote for Obama because he's Muslim. That's discrimination. Would you like a dictionary definition? And just because America's so called "Constitution" has had ridiculous amendments thrown at it from Bush doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to protect and uphold the Constitution. Though that isn't the president's job, it will be when the supreme court is decided.

First off, just to clarify, Obama has Arabic roots, but he is not a Muslim. He is a Christian. On that, he has white, African, Arabic, Hispanic, and even Asian roots. So he's a man of many races.

And, Assassin of Konoha, even if he were Muslim, what would that have to do with anything? We are in a war against terrorism and extremist Muslims. If a Muslim were elected president, they are still an American. This is political war, not a religious crusade. If anything, they would have a broader view on this war, and probably be able to be more understanding of the the civil war between Islamic sects that is occuring in that country.

It isn't so much as believing we are worth dirt, it is just understanding that we are not perfect, no matter how hard we try, and that the only way to Heaven is accepting Jesus as your Savior, and believing He died for you and took your penalty (death, and spending eternity in Hell) so that you could be forgiven and spend eternity in Heaven. It really isn't that complicated like some people like to say it is. An the Bible doesn't say that we have to obey men regardless, it just says that men were designed to lead the house and women were made to be the caretakers. That doesn't mean, however, that we are like slaves or are unequal, it just means that we were designed for different jobs, kinda like the saying never let a man/woman do a man/woman's job.

It's a Protestant church with primarily African American attendants. Protestantism separated from Catholicism under Martin Luther's beliefs that one could achieve spirituality and the favor of God without having to pray within a church or with an organization, and that religious practice is meant to be had with one's own self. It was the rejection of this faith in Europe that caused Protestants to leave Europe and come to the Americans. In case you didn't know, America was founded on Protestant beliefs, which is why it is so often refered to as a "Christian nation". Clearly you have no idea what Christianity is outside of your own beliefs.

Also, I should add, that I would have considered voting for Edwards as well, but around Memorial Day he told people to go protest the war at Memorial Day ceremonies, and that really pissed me off. That was just messed up. Sadly, it didn't get a lot of publicity.

There are lots of reasons for this, but the main one is I eventually want to live in Holland and attain citizenship, and my extended family told me to remain politically uninvolved, if you will. I was looking for another word, but by the time I typed all that I forgot it. Haw haw. Apparently it's easier to become a citizen that way.

There's the whole I'm not going to be in the US for like 3 years. I'm not even going to be in the country to vote.

Personally, the candidates for this year are a bit disappointing to me. I feel that the Democratic party will win over the Republican, as far as my opinion goes.

I think that Obama is too inexperienced, especially with the international arena. Although it's good that we focus closely with our domestic issues, it's still important for us to have prominent relational ties with other countries for the sake of security. I feel that the Republican party has already messed that up, and it's kind of smart to regain other people's trust. I feel that Clinton will be an aggressive president and actually implement really good laws, but as far as personality goes, I don't like her. That's just me. However, for the sake of the nation, I think Clinton will be better suited. Not because of her husband, but because she has that personality that adheres to compromising with others -- and not have a dominating stature (to an extent).

I'm very liberal, my whole family is. I can't vote this presidential election, but in the next I can. I really liked Dennis Kucinich, real liberal candidate, all of his views seemed dead on for me, but he dropped out, I guess he wasn't as popular as the rest of the democratic candidates. So my next pick is Obama. He could change this country for the better, not continue this war 50 years plus. And also his views on taxes and such are something I agree on. Though, I also like Hilary. She's experienced in what she's running for and I want someone like that. So I guess I am torn between Obama and Hilary. I'm not voting Republic ever, I have nothing against them! it's just that there views are usualy polar opposite to mine. (except on pro-life...which I am for )

Believe me, I'm fully aware that Conservatives claim they want smaller government, but if you look at the actions of our last three Conservative (Republican) Presidents, you'll see that none of them did anything to make government smaller and in fact two of them (Reagan and Bush 43) actually vastly increased both the size and power of the Federal Government.

Perhaps you are not aware that the Republican Party tends to favor Big Business and Investors over Workers and Consumers to an extreme degree...Heck, it's the one thing they claim to stand for that they are actually willing to take action on! While I don't necessarily disagree with your Libertarian views on Corporate America (I'm a Libertarian-Liberal myself), they are certainly at odds with the Republican Party!
