Final Fantasy for PS3,real or not?

Ok.I saw thing clip on yahoo som time ago showing the FFVII intro.But it was said to be for the PS3.The graphics were like Advent Children and Yes I was psyced about it.But it's been a year or two now since then and I'm growing impatient.Someone give me info pleeeeeaaaaaasssssssse!

It was just a Tech Demo shown when the PS3 first came out, to show what it was capable of. It wasn't an actual game.

Not to say a Re-make could never happen.

That was a tech demo, just like what StabWound said.

There is a FF game coming out the PS3 though, two of them to be exact (FFXIII and FFvXIII).

There will be 3 games in the FF13 collection, 2 on the PS3. You can see the trailer for FF13 on youtube [it has been out for a year] which shows Lighting [lead character and please hope it's a working title] on a train etc. There are some pretty cool FF13 Versus screen shots out there if you want to have a look at them.

Why I don't think a FF7 remake will happen -> Most of the staff have left, mainly FF fans will pick up the games but the general market may not favour a remake.

However, the FF3 remake for the DS sold reasonably well so there is something to hold on for FF7 fans like myself.

I don't think the remake of FFVII will happen, but every now and then they hint about it.
As Momiji, I enjoy to keep the hope for one even though it's tiny and hidden far inside me.
To me it seems like one day they reject it completely, the next day they hint about the possibillity.

Although I also think it's just a bit of a marketing trick to keep the FF interest up since they release new info on FFXIII like... every 6 month so they need to fill something in between.

I don't believe the remake will happen either. I think there putting there efforts into making the push for XIII.

how about FFVII - Crisis Core for PSP? although its not a remake but still the story is from the original FF7 itself which is quite blur at that time.

yes they'll be a remake on the PS4 so you got to wait till then.

WoW FF for the PS3 I think it's also for the Wii. Final Fantasy has good music. my fave characters are Yuna from FFX and Cloud from FF7
