Your Worst Deaths

My worst death took place in UT 2004. Once during a capture the flag game I decided to try jumping from the tower and smashing my boyfriend whom was at the bottom. Didn't work out like how I imagined. I missed him by an inch. -_-
That was a fail.

Also, I hate it when a deflection from a shield kills me. It's happened alot.

I was playing Medal of Honor: Airborne, and somehow a German soldier got behind me, and shot my guy in the back. I did not see any Germans in the area.

Heheh... Battlefield 1942. I was riding on somones wing, literally laying on the wing of a BF109 German dogfighter. My pilot encountered some enemies and did his best to keep me of, but I fell off over the enemy territory. Of course there were enemies everywhere and I was being fired at after deploying my parachute. I had BAR rifles and Thompsons firing at me from every direction, so I pulled out my grenades and took out a few of them. Unfortunately, the server I was on was set to instant spawn. The guys were around me again so I used almost all my ammo trying to fight them off. Out of nowhere comes this bazooka bead blazing by my face. I took about 50% damage from it. A plane then came up behind me and I was dismembered in the propeller.

Pwned.

Civilization (IV i think):

As I was pulling a Hitler and picking off the weak countries with superior air and armor, I declared war on this insignificant little crap-country nobody cared about. What I hadn't seen was that this guy had mutual defense pacts with the three strongest countries next to me. So, the next thing I knew, all my harbors were blockaded, my oil wells were pounded by stealth bombers and my cities were covered in mushroom clouds.

I felt a lot like what I assume Saddam felt about the first gulf war.

Halo 3. This was my little brother, not me. My brother lasered a banshee out of the sky but the remains of the banshee flew right into him and the announcer said he commited suicide. Ouch.

I have a ton of horrible, horrible deaths on my record, both deliberate and accidental.

However, they all pale in comparison to this:

UT2004... I was playing that mode where you shoot a ball or carry it through the hoop. In one of the levels the hoop is on the ground so you have to jump in it and when you jump through you die instantly but there are all sorts of poles sticking out, and my character happens to fall on one of them in that one way that hurts every guy.

Tons of others but this is my favorite one, other than one where I was playing the first halo and where the vehicles didn't blow up, they would just get sent flying. Well I just happen to have a warthog blown upwards in my so I ran under it just narrowly escaping being crushed and the players that were shooting had to go around the warthog but unluckly on the other side was a tank, so this cool moment was a futile effort but awesome. It played in my mind as that scene from the matrix. Agent "I dodged" Trinity "Dodge this." *bang*

Everquest: I was walking down the path out of Highpass into the karanas when my brothers started talking about something. Stupid me put autorun on and went to see and when I came back I had 10k'd myself off the damn cliff. My brother will never let me live that one down. And you would think that Clothespinner chick would help me up, right?

Oh, and Twisted Metal does have an ice-cream truck, that would be Sweet Tooth the lovable clown, but I'd be more willing to say it might have been GTA. Might have been Vice City, that had the mini game where you sold "ice-cream".

My favorite deaths came in King's Field and Tomb Raider, the only games that made me feel like my character was feeling pain when I had him or her fall from a great height back when I was younger.

Oh, and almost forgot dying for the first time in Conkers Bad Fur Day, since then you meet Death who's not too fond of squirrels, and really hates cats. All those damn lives you know.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein: my friend decided to be funny and take the gravity off. After floating in the air for a while I see him, and somehow shoot him down. While he was respawning he put the gravity back on, causing me to fall straight down and my body parts basically went flying. Not too exciting unless you see it.

Super Smash Bros Melee.

Event Match #51. I was doing the Jigglypuff trick and killed everyone but Mewtwo (weakest of the 3 IMO), who had one stock. I got close to him and tried to down+B him, but wound up missing by just a little bit, putting me to sleep -_-. He forward smashed me off the platform and took my last stock.

I eventually beat it though... after a long time.

Also... this is epic.

It was my first Warsong Gulch and I was playing on my Palidan. The score was 2/2 and next flag capture wins.

I was able to grab the flag and have an escort of two people with me and we jogged down midfield and headed towards our tunnel while the Horde forces were drawing ever so close to us popping Sprint, Cat form, and Cheetah Aspect. My two escorts were dps classes so they could not assist in healing me, so I had to pop flash heals sporatically from time to time.

Well I did mention it was my first Warsong Gulch right?

I was nearing death as a Rogue kicked me out of a flash heal that might of bought me more time for the calvary to arrive but as all my life began to dwindle away I did what any Paly does when he's near death...as soon as my spells cooldowned from the Kick...I bubbled.

At the time, I did not know certain actions...dropped the flag. Needless to say my jaw dropped and Battleground chat was full of curseful banter directed at me. I didn't even bother healing during my bubble because I was too busy doing my "WTF" face at the screen. Three Horde members were "Kek'ing" at me and just kept poking my bubble until it wore off and I died almost instantaneously. Horde returned their flag, capped our flag, and I learned a valuable lesson on what not to do when you have the flag in a WSG.

Not so much an elaborate death but tragic nonetheless.

It's always embarrassing when playing WoW and fighting against a priest. And rather than killing me with his shadow power and such, he mind controls me. And makes me jump off a really high cliff.

i was playing a Breakfloor clan war on CSS and my mate rushes (u would have to play Breakfloor to understand) and knifes a whole clan 4 knifes in a row...lol

How the bottom right guy that died was similar to the death I mentioned when I posted except it was a banshee, not a ghost.

I was playing Godfather when I had this little diddie.

I was playing the final 'official' mission of the game, Baptism by Fire. Those of you who are familiar with the movies should be aware that this is where the Dons of the five families get knocked off. It's a very frantic mission with tight time constraints, but more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

Anyway...

I had just knocked off the Don of the Tatalligia family and hotfooted it out of there in the nearest car I could find. I am going as fast as I can since I had a time limit to reach the final Don, and am pursued by a small army of angry mobsters with passengers wielding tommy guns. My car is getting pummeled full of bullets, so I come to a very quick stop and jump out.

My car is hit by one of theirs, and I quickly draw out my tommy gun and start riddling the driver and passenger in bullets. The next happened in a matter of seconds.

I quickly kill the two and in the process riddled their car with bullets, only to be knocked from a car behind me in between my car and the doomed mobster car. In a one in a million shot I am literally trapped between two cars, with Ai Mobsters shooting at the car in front of me. It takes a couple of seconds before the aforementioned car is on fire and goes KABOOM!

Along with your hapless hero.

Heheh... I was playing an online fighting game similar to Dragonball Z with like 8 people. They all decided to gang up on me. I was launched into the air with two kicks, hit with eight ki blasts, nailed by an attack similar to the Kamehameha Wave, and then piledriven into the ground.
