Does anyone play stepmania?

Its DDR for the pc.

Just wondering.



StepMania is a rhythm video game for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linux created by Chris Danford. It was originally developed as a simulator of Konami's popular arcade game series Dance Dance Revolution, and has since evolved into an extensible rhythm game engine capable of supporting a wide variety of rhythm-based game types. Released under the MIT License, StepMania is free software.

I have it. Using a modified Project Blue theme found on the stepmania website, use the Note+ noteskins, and a C600 modifier(Constant 600 bpm).
For songs I have a bunch of anime and video game ones along with a few other artists like Dimrain47 and Cheshyre. Right now, my entire game is only 1.4GB with about 500 songs... compared to the 2000 songs I had a few weeks ago with 8GB+.

I play on heavy. But usually keyboard only steps get too hard for me. Anything harder than MAX FOREVER and I probably won't be able to pass it.

I play stepmania ^^
I have about 200 songs, most of them are anime/video game songs.
I play on Heavy and some songs on Challange. ^^
oh and...I always play with C400 and x1.2 rate

I don't own Stepmania on my comp yet I've been playing DDR for about two years. My friend Alex can do those uber-fast songs on
Appearance: Sudden (Or Hidden I think)
Drunk Visualization (Some kind of challenge visualization, really hard)
And ELEVEN times normal speed

And still get at least 1000 combo. I didn't think this was humanly possible until I watched him do it.

I find that level of game speed inhuman >_>;

i love StepMania! theres even an online version, but its still on work.

i have a few songs... since the re-format of my computer >___> i had a 70 songs i think. one of them on Otakusdream simfile pack.

the only expert song i can get AA at is Fluid Data. speed increased by 2. but playing on a laptop is annoying.

I've been play it for about a year. Really nice time killer, though recently I've "hit a wall" in terms of increasing difficulty. The only way I can really keep up is by modifying speed, since it all just mashes into a wall of arrows at around level 11-12.

I also turn off my holds xD It's all for fun anyway.



Used Fraps for my vids and uploaded them onto my cousin's spare account. I have 774 songs and use the "DDR9:RED" theme.

I like this game alot but I really can't play for very long because my hand starts to hurt really bad after a while.
