Wowie! They're awesome! xD At least, I believe so. :P The blue-ish one looks a little empty though... Maybe add some text somewhere. Same with the last sprite sig. That one looks a tad empty too. Especially the big black left side.
For some odd reason, although the effects are good, I'm not very fond of the last non-sprite sig. It could be because the colors are so random... Doesn't really flow well. The background is just too ...cheery(maybe?) for such a dark-looking character. I think it's the yellow and pink. x.x
I do love everything you've done in your sigs though. =) Gotta love GIMP's capabilities.

Do these threads get cleaned by mods every so often? If not then I just had a few of my commentors delete their comments...

OMG I love the Ulquiorra sig! Those are all so awsome and cool.I luv ichigo and Ulquiorra!
See your sigs are great but they seem a little messy.Other than that great job!
Keep up the great work.
Set by me.
I was Hieko.
I believe mods might clean up 'spam' comments such as, "I like that!" or "That's so cool!" because they don't help the artist at all. If the comments were like that, then I suppose the mods might have deleted them.

I got a pretty nice result by just trying to imitate some splatter sigs I've seen lately. I'll definately be currenting it, and since it's so simple yet looks so good, I might even make a tutorial for it.
Nevermind that above result, it had too little going on. Now the signature I have here, THIS is a fine splatter signature.
Just made my current, used a cut out made by serated and I think it turned out well. Comments anyone?
Here's a much better looking colored version.

Love that FSN one. Glad i finally got around to extracting that so it can be used in such a great way. Mind making a tutorial on it, or sharing how you made it to me?
I forgot to save a .xcf file sadly. But I'll happily redo it and make it into a tutorial for all you Gimp users.

It looks like my comment got deleted...Well like I said I like the ichigo ones, how do you do the splatter effect? C4Ds?
I actually use splatter brushes for the ink blots here and there. For the background splatter, I use the Qbist filter. I smudge it around until it gets a smoothe and watery texture. Then I add a new layer and brush in hard abstract brushes then displace the smudged layer. Be sure to use the abstract brushing as both displace layers.

Wow, the FateStay Night sig is awesome. I like the colored version much more than the black and white. The effects blend really well with the extract, which is awesome. The text is pretty good too. Great sig! I also like the first Aizen splatter sig. It is simple and very nice. Great work! XD

Dug up my old as hell Obito siggy I made like...long ago...
Used one of Serated's Cuts for my latest Oceanic siggy
Nobody willing to offer some comments or helpful advice?

You're sigs are very nicely done. The blue for your latest sig fits very well. The only thing is the text. The crooked text doesn't compliment the sig very well. I would try straightening it to keep the balance.
Everything else is great though. Love the effects and the render's nice.
Keep it up!
Siggeh made by me. Taking requests ATM! =3
Only got one thing to say: You're sigs are awsome.
Well in fact I got a couple of other things to say
The Obito sig really looks like you made it long ago cuz as anybody can see you improved very much.
And as for the Oceanic sig you should try to put the text to flow with the rest of the sig cuz I think it looks like a barrage.
Maybe I'm not the one to say all those things to you(mainly because I'm a beginner) but I did so keep up the good work.
Adding on an Iron Man sig I made as schoolwork to test my level in GFX. I came, saw, and kicked ***...
Random, I like all of your sigs, especially your latest ones!! I agree, maybe you could add some text of some kind to the blue one, so it seems full. I'd like to say you've done a very good job with them.

I teamed up (well..not really...) with this girl at Deviantart.com who made this fantastic Daft Punk print. So, seeing pretty colors and shiny things I was naturally distracted. Knowing that I had to make my mov3e3 then and there, I asked for the permission and privelidge to make a sig out of it. So I got the ok and made this little beauty. I kept with the artist's original work and did aboslutely...
-No Smudging
-No Filters
-No Clip Masking
All I did was re-arrange the picture to look good in a sig space then gave it some flashy adjustment layers and colors.

Yeah, the mod can be mad if she wants but... I've been more or lewss neglected in respect to other siggy threads and kinda feel left out. So usually a new and exciting thread gets attention and some helpful critique so let's hope it happens. My other thread fell out of relevancy too when I started uploading old sigs for you to see at the same time as my new ones. So this thread will showcase my work in an orderly and up to date fashion to keep you all from losing your minds. I'll also be listing off some of the key points in each signature's construction so my fellow GFX artists can better help me out.
Gimp 2.4 Program
Kingdom Hearts 3 Signature
With this one, basically the idea was to make a grainy and grungy splatter sig. It came out quite nice, and all of your should be thanking me for saving your eyes from the colored version. The original render had colors of gold, brwon, and brownish-red which when smudged the way I did... Well nevermind that... I just did smudging and clipping masks. Haven't really decided a good text entry yet. But hopefully it'll come to me soon.
Daft Punk Signature
This was a stock manip I did with the artist's permission of my stock. Nothing truly special here, as most of the work was done for me with her amazingly vibrant background. I just tossed the control panel up over one of the robots as you can see. I didn't want to alter her original work too much. I also gave it some bright and prettyful gradients which I know, make me uber gay for using...

The daft punk one, i get, But the kingdom hearts one doesn't really look anything like kingdom hearts, if so then my eyes are bad. It looks blurry. I like the creative colors you added on the daft one though, keep up the good work.
Your banners could be better if you could also try other techniques. All of them to be honest are plain. They're dull and they should have more colours into it instead of one or two colours.
All I see from them are only smudges and you over-did the smudges and you should also sharpen a little some of the image. At the same time, use a different texture or brushes on the banner. All of them looks the same and you're using quite dull colours and it makes the banners boring.
I also suggest you to save your images in .png so it'll give out a nice, clear finish. For your last banner, the choice of colours aren't so good and it's still blury. As I said for the others, sharpen it out a little and be good in combining in the colours so the image itself will stand out.
The overral rate of your banners, and I'm sorry if you don't like critism.

Ah yes, sure. If you want to change out the colours a little more and to make it unique I suggest you messing around with the Selective Colour area. That's what I do when I want to change out the colour. ^_^

Anyway nice jobzzzzzzzz!
On the newly updated Daft Punk siggy(and avi)
I love the coloring and its just awsome.
Anyway =_=
Do you know where I could get splatter brushes from by any chance?
Set by me.
I was Hieko.
Indeed I do. ^_^
Just check out deviantart.com and search for '_____ splatter brushes' with the blank being your program of course. You will have a panel on the left side with a 'download' option. Click that then send the .zip file to somewhere you can access it on your comp then extract the files to your brushes folder in your program's program files. This is conveniently located in the Program Files folder in the :C local disk.
