No update yet. Gomen. I'm a bit preoccupied with work and school... Though that shouldn't be an excuse for not showing my appreciation sooner to you guys who took the time to comment/critique. Without further yada-yada, here I go: ^^
zyronet: I based those drawings on specific characters. Actually, I've indicated the names and the anime from which I based my sketches on. Thank you for finding them pretty but I'm not confident in making a tutorial just yet though. ^.^;
poison.ivy: Thanks for the generous compliments. I think they're far from perfect but I'm still fond of them just the same. Yes, I would like to post more in the future but I'm kind of the person that waits for inspiration [and free time] to do a piece of 'art'. LOL Still, I hope you stay posted.
Rhoswen: Thanks. I'm actually very very critical of the proportions of my drawings. If I'm not satisfied, I redraw until I think it renders what I want the drawing to render [raises undue pressure, I tell you ^.^;] Yes. The ear is a little edgy and would have been better having a smooth flowing edge. Thanks for pointing it out. The tears. I couldn't darken the tears because water is transparent and wouldn't have a clear outline. I think the 'path' of the tears is off, I should've curved it a bit to show she's got flesh on her cheeks. Thank you for your critique. I appreciate it. ^^
Hamashimura: There's nothing to forgive really so please don't be sorry. I'm just glad you came, saw my humble drawings and commented. Your long comments are one of my most anticipated. Thanks so much, Hama! ^^ Shading is one of the easy parts but there's a certain trick to it when shading in grayscale using ordinary pencils. ^^
I did had trouble with the shadows. I finished putting in the shadowed part when I realized it didn't look believable so I relocated the 'light source' and hence had to redo the light-dark parts ^.^; Glad it to know turned out okay in the end.
I told Izumi about your comments and he sends his thanks for your compliments. Yes, it is his first CG though he says it's not all that great 'coz he got lazy with it half way through and that the effects are there to divert the eyes from the flaws *Izumi evil grins*
The flowers were the quickest and the easiest to draw. Putting in the shadings really did give the flowers a different character. Sakura's hair and face were the most challenging of all though I think it's the flowers that made it for the whole composition. XP
MissChelly: Wow! Just as always, you're VERY magnanimous with your compliments. Thank you so much. It feels really nice to have my sketches and the efforts I put into the details appreciated. I will post more soon. Please stay tuned. XD
naotavespaboy: Thank you so much... Though how the word 'professional' keeps popping is kind of getting scary. I'll do my best to meet expectations *pressure* XD
