I like them all to be dubbed is a pain if you have to read while watching anime if I wanted to do that i would pick up a book I do it some times but watching live action it's better

Well, Geneon's done, so it's not really relevant. It had benefits though, as FYE put the entire Samurai Champloo series on clearance and I got the whole series for $60 instead of $190, woot!

Personally I hate anything dubbed, this includes movies, games, anime, or anything with people talking.. The reason is that it ruins the experience by making it something other than the creators intended..

Personally I prefer anything that I can't understand in subtitles..

You know, one problem in the subs was Dragonball Z, I mean, Goku sounds like he is sucking on helium! In my opinion, the dubbed voice for Goku sounds better, and for most chracters in DBZ. Oh yeah, 小美ドクロchan I do agree that most of Geneon's dubs were trash, especially some voices in DearS! That Oihko kid sounds like some wimp, and everyone else was annoying. I don't remember it, but I enjoyed the Dub for Rurouni Kenshin. For Naruto, I didn't like the dubs(I don't watch it now). *off topic*

My niece is a big Fruits Basket fan, and she is 100x more anime and manga than I am! She is only 13 and on her way to being an expert! Wish she could joing AF so all of you people can talk! She prefers ALL subs and says dubs sucks, and also agrees that Geneon sucks. I'm a guy who's interested in romance anime and manga(I admit it!). I'm thinking of reading Rozen Maiden, anyone know if it's any good?

1. Try to get your niece to broaden her interest-because all dubs definitely do not suck. I had the same attitude as her but my friend changed my opinion BIG TIME.

Atleast I have something to look forward to! Thanks! To me, dubs don't all suck, it's just that it does sound a little strange for English voice actors to act in an anime. *off topic* I'm beginning to think that i'm part Japanese! (Just because of my eyes and my naturalness in Karate).
