Masaya Aoyama - What is wrong with him?

I know TMM is a bit old, but I have bin on many forums, seen people telling how much they hate Masaya Aoyama.

My problem is that;

How come you hate him so much?
What is wrong with? I can't see it. Isn't he the perfect boyfriend for you girls?

Please come with examples for what there is wrong with him!

We hate Masaya because all of us wanted Ichigo to be with Ryou or Kish. Why?

Because Masaya is BORING. Extremely boring and 2-dimensional. No personality whatsoever. He's just like Eichi from Full Moon and um...all those other boring nice guy stereotypes. And in the manga, he looks ugly. To me.

In a nutshell, I hate him because I hate his stereotype and he got the girl while Ryou is left to suffer unrequited love. I think those are good reasons. :P

The perfect boyfriend!? Blech, no. If I was going to have a boyfriend, he has to tease me a little. Overly nice guys come off as too desperate and not very....manly. >_<

A 2-dimensional character is a character without depth. Like...there's no change or growth in him. A stereotype is.....well it's like nothing special, I guess.

Haha...his looks, his personality, and his feelings toward Ichigo-if he didn't like her back, Ryou would have got her for sure.
