Nice job...I like the colored borders...Very nice...
Thank you, I made all of these except for the GSG collage with GIMP 2. I have reinstalled Photoshop CS3 pro edition back on my computer so now I can make decent sigs again. My photoshop install got corrupted and I had to reinstall, which takes forever since I have like 2 gigs of plugins to install too. Finally got around to doing that.

^That is crappy.
I love your style, simple but beautifully done.
The "cute angel girl" one is my favorite.
Nice job.
Hopefully your Photoshop doesn't screw up again.

Well...it's nothing against you, but these are really big, creating something similar to a visual overload. Make them smaller. The biggest I recommend is a 500 x 150. Other than that, most other sigs tend to seem bigger than they really need to be. You do a pretty good job at scaling them and finding the right text, however I can tell that most of those sigs are just pictures resized. Find some extracts from our lovely Anime Forum Extractors, Serated and MaruDashi. They both have some really awesome extracts that you'll like. Also find a way to blend the extracts and the text. For text, I usually just use a drop shadow effect. That's just me however, so if you want, you can find other ways to blend text with your sigs. Can't wait to see you improve. =)

You are pretty good there! ^0^ I like the umbrella girl, so kawaii! <333 Some of them are pretty plain, my only advice is to try adding a few more effects to some of them, other then that. They are really good!! ^_^

I redid the Air one with a different photo because I did a sloppy job on the extraction for the previous one...I want to redo the old one though...Misuzu's pose is so cute

Thanks, but it's not better it is that I am using a program that I am familiar with now...I was using Gimp for everything posted before 12-4-07 while my install of Photoshop Pro was not working...some of these I made a while ago. I use CS3 Pro for work every day so I am more familiar with it and all of the plugins I use for it. It is all in the tools! :P

Ahh. I see. I tried using a GIMP program on a library PC...UBER FAILURE! XD I didn't know what I was doing. >_< I am planning on getting photoshop eventually, lol.

That's good, it is an expensive program though, lucky for me the program is a tax write off so I get the $800 back that I paid for CS3 pro ed. on my tax return. The plugins included I get over $1300 back at the end of the year...It takes a while to learn the interfaces so do not get discouraged if you do not get it at first. Hope to see some stuff from you soon!

Well you have resizing, and basic backgrounds done. That's good, since most sigmakers enter the program blindfolded without any regard for the tidiness of the actual sig x_X That's a great start.
I would probably recommend starting to experiment with brushes and random filters. You can achieve some cool effects just from playing around. It'll give your work layers and depth. Smudging's a pain if you're just starting out, so I wouldn't take it too seriously.
Gradients and blending modes can set the tone for a signature as well. Any GFX set can help you play. This is from my experience with CS2 anyway.

Hmm, I haven't commented here yet... ^^
I see a big improvement in your siggies between the first and last one you posted. I really like the last Aoi sig - the background is much better, and I like the text - everything matches very well. On some of the more delicate sigs, like the last Kanon sig, you might want to make the text smaller to better capture the feel of the sig. Other than that, your backgrounds are much better, and your last sig is definitely your best! Keep posting your great works. ^^
|Sig thread|---|Extractions!|Sooo many thanks to .Celeste for the lovely avvy!!! ::INTUITION GFX
Thank you, at the beginning I was using Gimp because my Photoshop crapped out. I was unfamiliar with Gimp so I could not utilize it properly...that is why the first ones I posted are so bad. I almost want to delete them as they do not actually represent what I know how to do. I usually work with photographs and animated gifs so I do not often do stuff like this except for forum sigs and avys.
And thank you for honest, and yet, not rude criticism.

A set I made for someone on another forum based on Ai from Jigoku Shoujo.
I usually do not often work with dark colors so it was fun to do.
