Hi everyone, AceNoctali here.

I'm a 25-years male French, who likes, among other things, novels, video games, and manga.

I'm especially a fan of the Fire Emblem video games series, notably Fire Emblem 4 (Seisen no Keifu). And video game wise, my other big favorite fandoms are Star Ocean (Second Story mainly), Tokimeki Memorial (1 and 2 mainly), Streets of Rage, and Lunar (1 mainly).

As for manga, I have a wide array of tastes. To name a few : FMA, Samurai Deeper Kyo, GetBackers, Death Note, Midori Days, Chobits, Shikeishû 042, Planetes, Chrno Crusade, Azumanga Daioh, Yotsuba &, Fruits Basket, Tsuchi no Ko, Seizon - Life, Captain Tsubasa, Akira...

I'm currently studying Japanese, and am currently at my 3rd year of study. I'm striving to master the language, and in fact, the reason I joined you was because I want to provide Animelyrics.com some transliteration and translation of songs.
(And yes, I've done the Japanese test. I'm waiting for the results.)

I know enough French to survive on the European servers of GuildWars and give things to people who are asking for them in French, but when it comes time to have an actual conversation, I have a lot of trouble, so that is when I speak in mangled French-Spanish. I remember one time I was in a group with a French girl, and it was fine until the rest of the team left, so she and I had to try to finish the mission by ourselves. I could understand most of what she was telling me, but I couldn't respond very well. ^x__x^;; I felt bad, also because we couldn't finish a mission meant for 8 people with only two, so I had to tell her that.

I feel for you, I would felt as bas as you if I were in the same case.

Don't worry about the misunderstanding, French is not the easiest language to learn, so I can understand.
If you're interested in taking up again the language, we could have some nice chat in French language on PM. Talking with a native is a good way to improve your skills, and I'll help you the best I can.
