Can i draw any characters from any anime? Or juz i create? When is d deadline?

I'm pretty sure you can draw a existing anime character or your own. As long as it has something to do with a Holiday. ^_^

Just Photoshop CS3. Nothing spectacular.

As for the PSD file i promised, that'll be submitted if i am selected to be winner of the contest.

I have a few questions, too...
1. Is it okay if I submit art WITH a background for judging, and then if I win, I'll upload the version WITHOUT the background to make it easier for people to manipulate? o_o
(I use OpenCanvas, and I can save the file as .psd too...but just in case some people can't open .psd files, I'd like to make it easier for them too. :D)
2. Out of curiosity, how will these be judged? Will other users vote, or will there be appointed judges?

@Akari_aurion : Minako stated earliar in the first page a winter theme is fine as well.

@manyan : Making the background is up to you. And as minako said earliar, posting the PSD for the wallpaper-er's would be exelent as they well have much cleaner edges and makes the entire process MUCH easier.
I beleive the judging is split amongst several individuals. I'm not entirely sure of it though.

Ok, here's my entry. It's a little blurry because I don't have a scanner and I took pictures with my digital camera. I'll try to get a clearer version.

can it be all bloody and full of action but still holiday like?
like some anime character beating up santa while the anime characters in a santa suit.
Or a oh so sexy anime girl in a christmas outfit Battling a giant Robot santa.
OR some anime character having an ultimate gun battle with santa.
OR some character stealing santas sleigh ride?
or does it have to be all happy and cheery looking?
