Well this thread is just for that.. pictures of peoples body art. Just one BIG rule before you post..

Please be sure the pictures are appropriate, both on WHERE on the body it is and WHAT it is of. The rest of the rules for the forum apply of course, but I just wanted to make that clear.

Here is my work..my tattoos were all drawn out by me ^__^ except for one..this one though, is my work. You can probably see imperfections..those are all intensional. Im not a perfect artist and i didnt want my work to be cleaned up by the other artist.. oh this tattoo is my inital its a 'J'..im working on createing a whole alphabet like that ^.<

These are my tattoos. I just took them, and they are in no way very artistic. But I've never had any artistic pictures taken of them yet.

This was my first tattoo. Nothing special, on the lower part of my back like yours. My starsign and some puffy crap. 60 bucks.

This is my second tattoo. This is my favorite. It means a whole lot to me. I actually spent like an entire day working this tattoo out, and it took like 2 hours to draw it out and put it on my body with color. It was done in my tattoo artists kitchen, and it was free. Upper left shoulder.

This is my third tattoo. Took even longer than the previous because my arm is so tiny so making the rose look the way I wanted was taking forever. The text was done with a really really small needle and it took an hour. 80 bucks. Lower right forearm.

My fourth and fifth tattoos. Done in one sitting. Ooooh boy, the chest hurts. Mom is on the right, and dad is on the left. (my rights and left) I wanted my dad above my heart, because he's not my biological father, so I wanted the closer tie. My mothers got blood ties with me, so it doesn't matter where her tattoo is, in my opinion. I chose tulips for my mom, because she's from holland, and wrenches for my dad, since he's a mans man, and fixes junk and works on cars and stuff. I think it was like 180 total. I dont remember.

this next tatt of mine is very sentimental.. i lost my sister about 2yrs ago (this december) and it was a very unexpected loss.. but i went and drew this out for her..

this next tattoo was the third one i got..a few years old. the only thing i really didnt do was all the detail on the dragon..i suck when it comes to drawing dragons so my friend did it for me. i gave him the basic outline on how i wanted it and what position i wanted it in. this one is located on my left upper/outer thigh.

Okay this is my last tattoo (that Ive gotten..for now..) And its the ONLY one I did not have a part in drawing out. Actually it was all done free hand by the artist. Its a Luck Dragon.

Do they ever get really itchy? My friend got a tattoo 2 years ago and hers gets really itchy for unknown reasons.

Those tattoos look pretty good though, I really like Dorian's rose and Kikyou's dragons. Moxx's cherries look really cute ^_^

You know..its funny but sometimes they do get a bit itchy..after the healing and all. I have my days. Theres even been these times where Ill be play fighting with my husband and he smacked me accross my lower back once and the tattoo seemed to pop out on my skin.. but only the little line designs..It felt pretty funny. ^.^ Thanks a bunch Mini ^.<

I got bored in my astronomy and math lecture and doodling turned into designing a tattoo. I'm sure I posted this somewhere before but I don't remember. Its my Chinese surname, "Chen". Modified to be prettier than it actually is of course, I don't know of any Chinese characters with flowers or illusionistic butterflies in them. This is the actual surname:
