I'm sorry to hear that.
None of my friends die. They're pretty much alive. Thank god for that.
Much love to Jagan Eye for the lovely set. <3
awww thats so sad ;-; -gives you a hug- , um i never nearly lost a friend, but my cousins friend nearly lost her life through anorexia, she told me she hated her figure so badly(she was actually thin but she had big love handles, but she really looked fine) because she abused her whole body by skipping meals and only drinking water and carrots (and i think cucumbers), when she had a big break down (faint) she had to go to the hospital and the doctor said she was fourteen days away from dieing!, she really pulled it together after that and she tried to eat more before that was happening thankfully, this is what you get from looking beyond the mirror and tricking your brain XD anyways she's okay now ^-^

So sorry to hear. I've not lost any friends, but I have lost several family members in the not to distant past and I still miss them. The best thing to do is remember them as they were (in my case the losses were afer long periods of alzimers) and continue on. Life is always full of joy and sadness and you have to learn to put the sad behind you and continue on and enjoy your life.
I had 4 friends who died in a car accident. Alcohol related. And i had one friend stabbed.
I am so sorry i have not lost a friend though. I would visit their tombstone and give them flowers regularly though. And just try to get past it

Either mourn his death and be sad, or get over it and move on.
people generally do both - one after the other in the order above, but how long you morne depends soly on the indevidual
When I was 16/17 (I think...it was a long time ago for me) a childhood friend of mine was murdered by her ex-boyfriend. We had grown up together and had been friends since the first grade. We weren't best friends any more, but we were still good friends. Her death was quite a shock for me. We had counsellors at school, but I didn't go (though in retrospect, I should've). It's not easy. You just really need to take each day as it comes. If you need to talk to someone about it, find someone. And don't forget that your friend's parents lost someone too and they may want to talk and share their memories as well. You don't have to forget them, but you can't cling to their memory either. Sometimes journalling can be helpful. Write down your favourite memories and whatever it is you feel like you need to share. Writing always helped me.
It will take time, but you'll eventually find each time becomes easier to handle.

Actually, two people from my school died recently. The first one wasn't really my friend, he was a fellow classmate and he was also a racist and an a**hole so...yeah...he died in a head-on crash while he was motor skiing during the summer and I'm still a little sad about that. The second kid was my friend at school and he was a pretty fun guy, he died along with his friend and two other freshman girls when they were speeding and got into a head-on collision with another car only a few weeks ago. So R.I.P. to them!
No,none of my friends have died.I have had numerous relatives die, within the the last decade especially, from cancer.
During my sophmore year of high school 3 kids I knew died. One was in a comatose state for almost a year because she was in a car accident. Around the same time period (back in April of 2000), another classmate of mine was coming home from work at Wendy's and was ran over by an off duty police officer coming home. Then a month later, a friend who I was getting close to died of leukemia. And 2 years ago, another former classmate of mine died of cancer.

Yeah. I dropped one friend of mine back in high school off at the university where her mom worked, said we'd see eachother tomorrow, then tomorrow arrived and I found out she was killed in a car crash.
Another guy I was friends with - not extremely great friends with fortunately but it still bothered me, was killed in Afghanistan a year ago.
Though none of these people were too close to me, I still saw them on a daily basis before their death, or had more then one conversation with them.
One was a girl who hung herself my sophomore year in high school, another girl died in a car accident my junior year, and a guy I knew just died in a car accident last weekend.
This stuff scares the crap out of me, I don't know what I'd do if someone really close to me died. If my best friend julie died I'd be a wreck. The few people who I'm actually close with are very important to me, I wouldn't be the same.

A MaruDashi Creation
I knew a guy (we weren't -that- close, I think acquaintance is the best way of expressing our relation at the time) who blew himself up by accidentally setting off homemade explosives. I got over it.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
So sorry to hear that..my friend from 5th grade died from a brain disease this year. He wasn't my classmate anymore, but I heard the news from my math teacher and my classmate. She goes to the hospital everyday and visits people there. (So nice of her. ^^ Wish i could do that, too!) I felt so sad, because he's really funny. I pray for him that he'll be peacefully in heaven even though he was my friend for one year. ^^
I'ma eat yoo! Ohm nom nom~!"Bad habits you fail to control will eventually control you"
I'm sorry for all the friend losses.
Personally I've moved around too many times and haven't kept good notice of the status of my post friends' livelyhoods. When you move away, you usually loose all your friends. So I understand what it is to no longer have them, but I haven't gone through the trauma of funerals.
My childhood best friend, James, was killed in an ATV accident just after our freshman year of highschool. He had never ridden an ATV before, and was out on vacation with some friends in New Hampshire or Vermont. He was asked if he wanted to go for a ride and they showed him how things worked. One way or another he got separated from the group, went off the trail, and hit a tree. Bleed to death. Still not sure if he was conscious or unconscious at the time.
Wolf was killed in a drunk driving accident the summer before my senior year in highschool. He had just graduated. I ran track with him for a few years.
Lima, more of an acquaintance than a friend, was murdered this spring.
Claudio, my friend's brother, was killed by an ex-boyfriend on August 12th. Turns out his killer was a friend of mine from highschool. He was hit over the head with a hammer and then stabbed over 20 times with a sculpting tool.
"The color fades along the intervals I follow."
Yeah. One from a stroke, the other from lung disease.
What's this for....
uhhh he was sorta friend but not a best friend but last summer around july my friend was in the constuction program in Conneticut and he had to wake up early every morning and drive to the place. he fell asleep while driving and crashed the car....he died in the crash. and he just graduated last year too
he was a good guy he and he will always be remembered to me and many others that knew him
Are you Experienced?
Yes, don't wanna talk about it but may he rest in peace
There really isn't a whole lot you can do. Just mourn the death and realize that it was totally out of your control.
I'm very sorry to hear about your friend though.
I never understood that joke until I experienced a chicken crossing a road.
None of my friends have died, nor anyone at my school. It's only a matter of time that somebody there does, though - most of the dudes at my school can't drive for their lives. That's why I don't nonchalantly stroll through the school parking lot. Don't get me wrong, I don't actually want anyone to die. o_o

One of my best friends killed himself recently, like 2 weeks ago or so and I took it pretty hard because I had seen so much of him at the time but you get over things eventully.
