Racism
God, this is starting to make me pretty mad. In some ways people try to be cool by being racist to other people, that's not right. One time, someone was making fun of my freind because he was asian(I'm asian also) and that pretty much made me mad. I hope you guys aren't like these people.

In my view, there are no "races" only skin tone. I don't see how that can make someone an entirly different race. We're all human, so I say it's the only race on this earth (Other than animals..but that's different, in my view though). To me Races are like, Elves, D&D stuff. But this is my view. So Racist Comments to me are just sterotypical. Which are still low, just like labelling.
Again this is my view. Saying comments like this are not cool, not even teh least bit.

Its such a crying shame when you include racism in a joke to make someone laugh, we all have a heart we all feel the same emotional pains... why should skin color matter more then whats in our hearts.

As Eris said, it's a thingof ignorance, but I'll also add in a form to be arrogant.
Actually, people like to be "cool" by pointing out "racism" on others and their statements. These anal hats mostly use anecdotal evidence and bul**** to their advantage. Basicly, from a less related or irrelevant situation, they bring it to an eloquent, howling protest against almost aybody for being racist.
Example:
Student: Teacher, this indochinese music sounds like wind chimes.
Teacher: Young lady, you are racist!
Conclusion:
Student isn't necesarily racist.
Teacher is indubitably an anal hat.
People are racite at my school i hate it...they hate me because im white.

DX Ugh. I hate it. But people think I'm rascist, since I tried to make a girl laugh (who just happened to be African American) but I think it sounded like something mean to her.

I often pretend to be racist for a lark. There is no cow so sacred it shouldn't be mocked. As the Buddhists don't say, “If you meet the Buddha on the road, call him fat.”
However, there is a world of difference between joking and seriousness, and real racism is just stupid, but then again most everything is on some level stupid. I mock the racist in the same way I mock those that are racist’d against. I am an equal opportunity mocker.

I am not a racist, but, we all have a racist inside of us. Now don't be afraid to admit. We have made that joke, probably not to someone's face, but we most certainly have. Hell I'll admit it, i have made some racist jokes before with the friends.
I shall answer The Castle's question, as Humans, we are not all evolved into the kind liberal "how dare you say that" society. We as humans judge people for what they are to give a boost of confidence or for some other dumb thing. Kind of like animals, you just don't really see a deer hanging out with a cougar. Although it may sound cold, we are also humans and have the same trait. Someone is different, I don't like it. But Humans are different, we learn to see what is wrong and what is right. So yeah..........

Lots of people are racists cuz they think people from certain country are ugly, primitive, and things like that. So annoying!

I find racism, really intense racism as that from the KKK and Hitler, are very fascinating. It provides a great section of history to study. While I don't agree with all the racist philosophies, I will not hate racist people. I may sympathize with the victims of racism.
I joke about different races all the time and I think it's funny. I joke about my own race and I think it's funny. I don't hate based on race and I don't love one person over another for their color of skin. To let such things upset you gives power to it. Blah! I hate being serious.

To each his own, when I went into basic I had two really cool friends. One was an African American and the other of hispanic origin. We could sit around and crack jokes on each others race then crack on each for being racist. And not a single one of us would get ticked. Now why can't everyone be like that, is it pride or believing their race is superior? We are all humans... we have the exact same stucture physically and or mentally depending, on how you grew up. But I guess humans always try prove themselves better than those that are different, for the simple fact they are either uneducated or unable to handle the fact that we are equals. I have put up with a lot of racism from family, friends and complete strangers cause I live in the south east of America. The only member of my family who shows even a slight bit of racism does it jokingly, because he was born in 1927, I let it slide cause he was born in generation that was seperated. But we today as people, as humans, have no point and no excuses to drag on this pointless struggle.

The euphuism "African American" is so stupid, pointless, and mis-guiding. Are we all really so scared of being labelled a racist that we can't say "black" anymore? Besides, there's plenty of black British people. What new euphuism do we give them? Or should we stick to "African American?"
