Sex before marriage?
As children, we were told to not have sex before marriage. In middle school we were then showed the good ol' sex ed tape to scare the crap out of us to not have sex by showing what can happen to you. Yet, you teenagers still defy and still do it. So my question is do you want to follow the no sex before marriage law?
It's not a law. It is simply common sense if you want to live an easier life, you'll wait till marriage to have sex.
Those sex tapes weren't meant to scare anyone. It was showing the consequences of sex, just as they showed us videos about drinking and gangs.

Its fine if you're smart about it in my opinion and I agree that those educational sequences that they take you through are good for you. Sometimes you should just let relationships and love take its course. For some it leads to sex and for others it doesn't. I don't see why people can't just make a choice based on what makes them happiest, so long as they don't involve others (accidental pregnancies) or transmit STDs.
In my case I'm not against it. But I am against a relationship if its solely based on sex.

Well in my case, I am not allowed to get married, and my kind of sex is far different from what you are probably talking about. Intercouse, right? Well I can't get pregnant, but can get STDs.
Irregardless, I believe that the only time anyone should be having sex is when they are in love. Whether you happen to be married at the time or not doesn't matter to me.

Meh, I'm pro freedom as always. The choice isn't really up for debate though so I'd have to say that it depends on the person. If you want to do it, then do it. I would only do it if we both thought it was a good choice to make...

I don't believe in the whole "no sex before marriage" thing. You can get a STD when you wait untill you get married, who can say you are marrying a virgin, just because you are.
When you love the person and you think it is right, then nobody has the right to stop you from having sex, except you. Ofcourse by law, you both have to be adults. And that's the only thing I think is fair, you have both have to be adults and consent to it. If so, then there's no problem, right?
A LAW? What consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedroom is none of the lawmakers' business. I don't even believe in marriage in the first place, does that mean I should be cut off from sex?
I mean, big deal, you get a STD--worst case scenario: You die an agonizing death. You are going to die anyway, why should that hinder you from enjoying life? You get yourself pregnant, you can always get an abortion.
You need to realize that nothing you have been told, ever, is without an agenda. You cannot blindly trust your teacher, television, the newspapers, the internets, me, or anyone else that says they're providing you with the truth; that's a good indicator they're actually quite full of crap.

Like most people said : A LAW!!??? That's not a law, it's mostly something that come from religion. But anyway, I didn't wait for marriage to have sex and I don't see that morally wrong. And I must say that I was never shown those kind of sexual education tapes... " Do you what you will, as long as you are responsible " is what I think about that matter.

Yeah, I agree, none of that stuff before marriage. Especially for women. Like elizabethswann said, I think that a girl's virginity should be a gift to her husband.

Hmmm... Personally I think it's fine before marriage. It's not wrong either. It's just one of those caught up in the moment kind of things... If I waited till marriage it'd never happen anyways. I don't see myself being married. O_O I don't see my self committing. Scary. It'd take an incredibly awesome guy who doesn't screw up. Since there are none of those!

In my personal view, Sex after marriage is good idea, but to me it's not horribly wrong to have it before it either. In my view, two partners should wait till both are ready, and of course, my silly statement, if they're in love. Which I believe has already been stated. It's alos choice. If someone wants to wait, then their lover/partner, if they love them should be able to wait and if not, don't even waste time with that person. But those are my thoughts. And I'll admit I'm still waiting for the right person do engage with sexual activities with, and I can say I'm proud I'm still waiting. But todays society it's all about sex...rather then focusing onthe relationship....yeah...

Sex before marriage? I'm not against this. People have the freedom to make their own choices regardless if they are good or bad.
Schools provide sex tapes for teens in order for them to realize some consequences and probably to show safe ways/other options.
Oh yeah...Some people do not marry for personally reasons and some people are cohabitants. Many of these people do not follow the "marriage before sex" idea.
As long as people are in love and think marriage is not big of a deal then go ahead and do what ever they want.
