It's not funny how badly you've misunderstood what I'm getting at here. I don't give two you-know-what's about life-insurance. Nor Thailand, for that matter. I'm sure it's a great country, but that's beside the point. The point of this thread is to demonstrate how excessively "touching" or "tear jerking" these ads are. I mean, if an insurance company in the US employed one of these ads any human being would sign up! It'd be like "FINE FINE, I'LL BUY THE DAMN INSURANCE JUST STOP WITH THE ADS!!! ;_;"

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe you were just too overzealous in looking for flamebait. And, to stay on topic in my OWN topic, the two that got to me most were:

Well Mr.Masaliwalli, I was on the verge of tearing for the 2nd and 4th ones cause they were really touching I don't know.

But the 3rd one shook the hell the out of me when he was looking at the concert flyer.

I thought his son was going to commit suicide after his father yelling at him like that when he threw down his guitar.

The Thailand commercial did that car ramming into the truck extremely well, effects-wise... it was so quick and pumping I was just "Wow holy ****!"

That made me feel pretty bad.

Than I listened to Project Pat Chickenhead's. Oh and the 6th one doesn't work for me, can't wait...

I was so hoping to be able to post and be all, "Oh em gee, I didn't cry at all!" But the last one got to me. I think because, my sister had recently been pregnant and miscarried. I was soooo looking forward to being an aunt too. ;____;

a lot of people i have met my age so far casually i seriously don't think they relise lots of things that go on around them in the world because they are too spoiled
i think thats sad pretty sad that there are tons of people like that who live in america who don't relise there are many people in america and even more living around the world who have problems like these that could be easily fixed if they had some help

well, i'll just be nice and say no i didn't feel anything from those, i'v dealt with most of those problems ( the plausible ones) in one way or another and i didn't cry then, so i'm not going to give it a thought about people i don't know

Haha, it's funny how it's the music that sets the mood. Take horror movies, if you get rid of the eerie soundtrack all the scary scenes would just look stupid.

Now about the videos, can't say any of them were sad enough to make all lachyrmose and whatnot with the exception of the very last one. I became slightly teary, it reminded me a lot about my own father and how he would never ever do what the father in the advertisement did. I'd probably end up locked in a basement with multiple bruises and whip marks. What a lucky girl she was.

All in all, they were cute in a touching sort of way.

As for the commercials, only two made my eyes water a bit. The onld man who played for his dead wife, and the daughter who gets pregnant. The rest, I just shrugged off.
