My favorite quote.

Many times people will use quotes from very respectable people to push an idea that the quote supports. Quotes usually have a premise of credibility. This is why people use quotes.

Quotes are usually witty. They make a point in a clever way. The maker of the quote is usually happy to see something that they said parrotted by other people because it brings fame to their expression, which inturn brings fame to the maker. That's why people make quotes.

I'm not really into fangirl stuff, but there's a lot of those, "once a _____, always a _____," quotes. Like "once a cheater, always a cheater."
