The US military investigated building a "gay bomb", which would make enemy soldiers "sexually irresistible" to each other, government papers say.

The 1994 plans were for a six-year project costing $7.5m, but they were never pursued.

The US Air Force Wright Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio, sought Pentagon funding for research into what it called "harassing, annoying and 'bad guy'-identifying chemicals".

The plans were obtained under the US Freedom of Information by the Sunshine Project, a group which monitors research into chemical and biological weapons.

I don't know if it's just me, but US made Gay-Bombs? They seem like a strangely effective means of attack. Although what if the soldiers busting in were found irresistible by the enemy? That would be an amusing scene.

I was educated in a school runned by nuns, I would pay to see them fight among themselves, it would be so funny. And Gay Wars lol where's this world going?

If they wanted to damage enemy morale and disable their troop movements and effectiveness that badly, why the hell didn't they simply research into a more effective noxious vapour that can be shelled onto enemy positions?
Their other ideas weren't even all that bad either, definitely more effective than this stuff.

If I recall correctly, some allied country dropped pornographic fliers over the Nazis during WWII to achieve a similar form of distraction. So it really wouldn't be the first time something like this was thought up.

Though, it might have been the Nazis dropping it on the communists, or vice versa. Someone was bombing someone else with porn during WWII, that much I'm certain of.

I think the G-Bomb would have the opposite effect. Case in point: the Spartans.
