Sometimes, I get bored with the newer games that have been coming out lately...
I guess I was just wondering what old game can you pop in whenever you need something to play (when the newer ones just don't do it)?

I suppose my choices would have to be SimAnt and Pokemon games^^ Pokemon is just timeless and SimAnt.. it's just plain fun, no matter how many times I play it XD
Well it is usually a miracle if I actually finish a game nowadays, because I'm easily side tracked or I just have no time for video games around school and so I have long breaks and if I'm playing a long RPG I can't remeber where I was and if it uses different machanics I sometimes forget how they work... so then I have to consider restarting it and usually at that point I get side tracked by someother game.
With that being said it is even rarer to find a game that I've actually played through more than once and so I shall list those games:
Super Mario World (SNES) - The first game I ever played and still one that I go back to every once and a while... plus I played it a million times when I was a kid.
Chrono Trigger (SNES) - I beat this game once and then continued to +game time and time again just to laugh as my people easily destroyed most of the bosses in the game, plus killing lavos with just Chrono and Marle is always fun.
Super Mario RPG (SNES) - I love this game it has my favorite RPG battle system which is what makes it so fun to go back to.
Final Fantasy VI (SNES) - My favorite game of all time and one that I have replayed numerous times.
Mario 64 (N64) - The classic 3D platformer, and still a great game to this day.
Banjo Kazooie (N64) - Probably tied with Mario 64 as my favorite 3D platformer, for me this game will never get old.
Castlevania Symphony of the Night (PS1) - 2D exploration at its finest.
Metroid Prime (GC) - 3D exploration at its finest.
Half-Life (PC) - My first fps (other then doom), and still one of my favorites.
Diablo II (PC) - My favorite PC RPG, I still go back and replay single player games once and a while just for fun.
Yes, oh yes, I can't get tired of that game. xD
Sometimes I play Pokemon too (GBA), it's time-consuming so it's good if I just wanna waste some time. >>;
If I had my PSOne left... I'd play FF7 or FF8, King of Fighters (just one of them), Crash (you know, Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot, either the racing game, or 2nd game) and Chocobo Racing.
Unfortunately, I can't anymoore since I don't have any consoles except my PC and a GBA emulator.
Still playing Gran Trisimo 3 before I get Guitar Hero 2 or some other game...

Oh, I'm so silly I didn't put the ones I like.
I've gotta agree and say the original Mario for Nintendo... there's something about its simplicity that melts the day around you away. The flying fish are hilarious , and the songs just get stuck in your head. Mario 3, too (which is one of my favorite games to this day).
Zanac for Nintendo is really fun, too... and since there's this AI system everytime you play the game through it's a different experience.
Metroid for Nintendo... just put in that Narpis Sword code and it's a good time. XD
Oh yeah.... does anybody remember Super Dodge Ball?

Star Craft.
God of War. (Not that old, but still fun)
Fable.
Metroid Prime.
Knights of the Old Republic.
I mostly play older games, but rather then repeating verbatim the games installed on this hard drive, I’ll pick out some of the older gems.
X-Com: UFO Defense- Probably the greatest tactical turn-based in the history of forever.
Master of Orion I & II- Best Space 4-X I’ve ever played, although I hear good things about Galactic Civilizations 2. Galactic Civilizations is merely OK.
Mech Commander II- Decent tactical real time strategy. Only on here because I played it recently.
Colonization- Kind of an odd 4-X game. You colonize America.
Fallout- Pretty good tactical turn-based. It’s got a decent sense of humor and a good story.
Alpha Centauri- THE best 4-X game in all eternity.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3- Kind of stupid and easy, but fun sometimes. Turn-Based.
Worms World Party- Fun Turn-Based Shooter.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge- Good times.
Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: I haven't played AoE3, but this is tied with AoM as my favorite AoE game. Strangely enough, the Gungans are awesome, which defies all logic.
Age of Mythology: Good times.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

Metroid Prime
Super Smash Brothers Melee
most of the Legend of Zelda games
GTA 3
Half-Life 1 & Half-Life 1 Opposing Force, best FPS game made in the late 90's
Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 & Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge, Alot more fun than Generals in all fairness
Warhammer 40K Dawn of War, Its Warhammer 40K, what more do you need?
Gran Turismo 2, So much fun to make a Ford Mondeo more powerful than a Nissan Skyline
Super Mario Allstars, I love to play the original Super Mario bros on it
Super Mario World, so many memories
UN Squadron, best side-scrolling plane shooter ever played
Contra, best run 'n gun I have ever played
Ace Combat 4, so unrealistic, but so much fun
Sonic Wings, best vertical-scrolling shmup I have ever played
Shining Force 1 and 2
i still play those games sometimes.. they were on Genesis
Mine are Starcraft, Warcraft II, FF VI, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Brave Fencer Musashi, Final Fight 1, 2, and 3, and the old skool X-men Arcade game (on my arcade emulator lol).
A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet, but a name like "Stink Blossom" would make you think twice about smelling it...

I don't have very many old games sine my sister destroyed my SNES and most of my N64 games were stolen, so some of these aren't all that old but I still go back to play them.
Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari - There's just something about rolling random objects up into a giant ball that glues you to the TV for hours.
Soul Calibur 3 - I shall be forever trying to unlock every single item in that game. Though I think all I have left are the weapons.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - I've beat it a million times, but I'm still always wanting to play it.
Fatal Frame - Just because I still need to fully complete the Ghost List. Plus a creey game is good every now and then. Though since I've beaten it about five times, it's not that creepy anymore.
Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 - Two games that are almost as messed up and as crazy as I am. My two favorites of the series and I never get tired of playing them. I always go to them when I just want to kill something.
StarFox 64 - It's one of the first N64 games that I've ever played and it's my favorite next to Ocarina of Time. I'll always go back to it every now and then to see if I can't beat my high scores.
Pokemon Snap - Yeah, you heard me. I like taking pictures of the overly annoying little creatures that can only say their own names. Though more than anything else, I love throwing stuff at them! *throws an apple at Pikachu and hits it on the head* Mwuahaha! SCORE!
Hmm...I'm willing to be that there's something I'm missing. Those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head, though.
When a time like this calls, I just re-hook up my n64 (Its a pikachu edition lol;I won it in a contest in like the 3rd grade) and just play some classics like Legend of Zelda:OoT, or invite some people over for Super Smash Bros.
.:Rest in peace Legend_S:.Sig/Av not made by me"Two MEN just kicked a BUILDING into the SKY!God I love anime."
