[SGI News Special]Mickey Mouse Used To Promote Jihad to Kids

A Palestinian TV programme featuring a Mickey Mouse-style character who urged children to fight Israel has been dropped.

Palestinian Information Minister Mustafa Barghouti said the use of the character had been a "mistaken approach".

The Islamic militant group Hamas had enlisted a Mickey rip-off to preach its message of armed resistance to Palestinian children.

A giant black and white mouse named "Farfour" or "butterfly", but bearing a strong resemblance to the famous cartoon character, had been preaching in a high-pitched squeak to children every Friday on a popular TV show.

The programme, called Tomorrow's Pioneers, was launched by the Hamas-run Al-Aqsa TV station last month.

Kids are encouraged to phone in to the programme and sing Hamas songs about fighting Israel.

"We will return the Islamic community to its former greatness and liberate Jerusalem, God willing, liberate Iraq, God willing, and liberate all the countries of the Muslims invaded by the murderers," Farfour told viewers in a recent episode.

It's good to see Mickey broadening his political spectrum.

You know, it is rather amusing. I don't know why I find this so funny. Especially the video in the news story. It had me in stitches. But in reality I guess it is kind of sick.

Actually this little story I found on the morning news. I am a bit of a news hound, as my wife Fabala can vouch for.

Translation. I find this stuff due to a lack of life.

SGI every time i read your threads i become less naive and more aware of how things really are.
i come out of my world of fantasies and see reality face to face.
which is scary and again i say, what is the world coming to.
this propaganda is too much to bear.

interesting news..
braining washing kids for world domination.. Its like part of a cartoon.. haha..
One thing i hate here..( They are using a look alike, the talking mouse, driver of a steamboat that has a side job of an apprentice magician, and also somehow a famous king of disney castle, Kh series..).. the idea of a mickey mouse look alike.. -sigh- whats the world into..??

Turning around.... I think they really are desperate now... seeing that they used a dirty tactic like that. I mean children should not be involved in wars. They're still innocent and naive in something like that. If adults are dragging them into the fight, Geez, what's next? They'll involve animals too?

Thats the most preposterous thing I have ever heard. Sure I pity the Palestinians, but seriously, getting their children to do that? I mean come on, their priorities are messed up if the have that mentality.
