And for the Feebas, just like on Ruby and Saphire, there very hard to find.

Okay, here's what you need to do. Feebas are in the mountains, in about 4 tiles. The problems is that those 4 tiles change daily. So, if you want a Feebas, be prepared to spend all day and catch a lot of them once you find them.

Or just get a female from someone else.

Okay, so is anyone having luck with the Radar finding Non-Sinnoh Pokemon? I've been hunting for a Ditto and a Houndoom for days now, and nothing. I haven't even come across a new Pokemon in the wild.

Am I doing something wrong?

Don't laugh, but it seems like I must be doing something wrong with the fishing pole, everytime I use it the pokemon "Gets away" this has happened so many times that I'm assuming I need to reel it in or something, but I don't know how, and random button pressing hasn't helped either.

So do I need to reel it in? Or what?

Hey,someone help me with this?I was at my Aunts house and she has a wireless router/broadband connection and I got everything set up and red, SSID, WEP, DNS, Gateway, the whole package, and I try multiple times to get on wi-fi and it screws on me saying it cant make a connection to Nintendo Wi-fi.

I don't know what it is with the DS, but the problem is probably something as simple as it just couldn't read the signal well, it doesn't seem to do well with things that weren't specially designed for it.

I've only used the Wifi thing that was sold for the DS, so I don't have much experience with other things.

Ive been playing over the weekend and i havent been on the computer for like ever, and i have like a billion questions to ask. Well, mostly I forgot them all, but here some questions that I do remember:

- Does anyone know where i could get a Growlithe, I still havent got it in my Pokedex and wondering if I could find it on this game.
- Has anyone found a Mankey yet? I really luved Primape on red version and I want it on this game.
- I've heard about events that happen on this game and im wondering what they r and how do I do them.

@Kyuubi: I don't understand computer stuff yet..but.. The only thing I can think of is to turn off the firewall for a second. That's what we did. We had to turn Norton's firewall while we were getting the DS to connect. Then once it's connected, you can turn it on again.

My brother just found the Houndoom, just last night. hes been getting a lot of new pokemon lately and im not finding a single new pokemon. This is not fair!!

I've found other things in the trees, the Wurmples are just the most common. I don't use the Honey Trees often though, so that may be the case. I've found a good 20 Honeys I have yet to use, if I committed myself I'm sure I could eventually get something.


I wanna know if there's a trick to that radar. I have yet to see anything at all. ;-;

I caught several Dittos. You go to Route 218 (east of canalave), activate your Poke Radar, use a repel to avoid the usual pokemon, and go to where the grass is shaking. If there are any, go to the ones that turn white around the edges: those are more rare. You should eventually find one. If there's a red and blue shaking grass it's a shiny, so go for it.

If you run into something that's not a Ditto (or whatever you're looking for), don't worry: as long as you beat or catch a wild Pokemon with the Poke Radar, it automatically activates again after the battle, up to 3 or 4 times. Using that process, it shouldn't take you too long to catch whatever you're looking for.

Sounds like we're about even. Alot of the ones I've seen I've neglected to catch, cuz...well, cuz it's frustrating and quick balls stop working by the time they're at lvl 50. So most of my "catching" now is Pal Park or egg hatching. Which reminds me, by the way, if anyone wants a Treecko, I hatched an extra on accident that I'm willing to trade.

You don't have Surf yet?

To get Johto Starters you need to use the Pal Park thing and transfer them from Ruby/Sapphire i think, but im 100% positive you can get them in Emerald.

To get them in Emerald you have to complete your PokeDex and then go back to Prof. Birch who will let you choose between the 3, Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chicorita (Sp?). So basically then you use migration and get them in Diamond/Pearl. And if you want all three...have fun completing the Emerald PokeDex three times :/

As for Feebas you can get it in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. It appears on the route right before the flying type pokemon boss in the water. You have to fish to get it and out of every single water space only 6 out of the 470 i think have a Feebas.
