Wait do you mean one spare seat or just one seat all together. If one spare: I wouldnt stop, Id say Id be far too curious as to how I learned to drive and who I ended up in a hurican. If there is just one seat all together: Well why the hell does a car have only 1 seat? and even if it did There would still be enough room for everybody in the car so why ask the question.

You're picking apart the question. Basically, its 'if you can only save one, who do you save'. Nothing to do really with cars or hurricanes.

I'd save my best friend, since I really, really owe him one. That, and since I'm assuming I'm not dating my dream someone, they're not really guaranteed to like me back, so I might be saving some person who doesn't even like me. The elderly woman has lived a full life (I assume, since she made it to old age) and since she is sickly, I'm assuming that she'd probably end up dying from it. The elderly have trouble fighting off sickness. So my best friend, as it were.

Well, if you knew knew me, you would know that there is probably no one out there of my "dreams". So, that rules out him and my best friend and old lady would leave safe in my car.
