my first poem.

[Future_Defense]

here it goes, my first poem. I do not have a title though! I plan on using this in another story of mine. LMK what you think!

Out of the darkness
heroes spring;
no matter what
the future brings.

If you don't want to follow
you're destined to lead;
so sound the charge
and do your deed.

Accept who you are
and forget your past;
look to the future
for your life will change in a flash.

Stay close to your enemies
and beware your friends;
don't end up like Jesus
defend yourself until the end.

Like a modern Judas
you will be betrayed;
you will be on the run
but your quest isn't done.

They may betray you for gold
they may betray you for power;
it doesn't matter,
if you survive you'll be less of a coward.

Continue forward
don't look back;
pick up your sword
and prepare to attack.

Outnumbered
outfought;
don't fight the fight
your enemies plot.

Your deed shall be great
for courage shall be found;
the Last March of Man
will it go out without a sound?

Or will it roar in a blaze of glory
remembered for eternity;
make your enemies sorry
for wanting to fight.

They come howling forward
these freaks, these orcs;
they thirst for your blood
so you shall kill somemore.

You shall not pass!
you say;
and you hold the bridge,
but if you fall, it will end that day.

You will be wounded
you will be cut;
but you'll fight on
from dawn till dusk.

But the enemy will keep coming
and you may fall;
but your comrades will keep fighting
for the good of all.

But if you fight on
hope and courage will enter their hearts;
for glory and for victory
force the enemy back to the desert!

This is your destiny
like it or not;
so sorry,
I know it wasn't what you sought.

Hmm this is my first comment on a poem. =X Hmm what to say I like it I mean this cause I dont care about my post counts. I mostly post here sometimes in misc or in anime discusions. But I like it nice rhymes where in it.
