The bands I like are V6, DAI, L'Arc-en-Ciel, Hyde, and X Japan. Dream isn't too bad either. And Tacky and Tsubasa are pretty good too. I also love TM Revolution's invoke, and Heart of Swords. I also like the Pillows, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, and Flow. I like Utada Hikaru's First Love english and japanese versions.

WOW thanks for the thread ive been searching for new music to start listening too, and i must admit some Jrock is good ; )
thanks for listing all these bands everyone!!! im gonna be checking out alot of these bands/groups/artists, and see if i like any of wot youve all posted

OH and as for favorite bands .... well ive only heard
THE PILLOWS thanks to Gainax and PRODUCTION I.Gs Fooly Cooly so id have to say they would be my favorite JPOP/rock wotever band
