I am fine with my first name, but my last name I can't stand. It is one of the few things that my father gave me. He is a horrible person and I do not want his last name.

I don't like my last name either but only because its so boring, I wish I had my mom's instead(it's italian).

Plus, people around me almost always get it wrong, even the nickname, because of the Filipino accent. Insteaed of "Stephanie" they go "StePanie" or, worse, "Tipani". "Steff" is always "Step".

People always mispronounce my name. It's Eva so always people think its the same as Eva Longoria's name but it's not. Eva is pronounced with a short E sound like in red not a long E sound like in sheep.

I like my name, actually. "Christopher"...it sounds like such a powerful and commanding name, especially when I think of someone like Christopher Columbus. My middle name is Reese, which is almost the name of one of my favorite candy-brands (Reese's whatever). As for my last name...it gets the job done. :] The only thing I don't like about my full first name is that it's too long; in cases where I am filling out a form or something, I go over the character limit. But my full name doesn't sound right if you use "Chris", instead of the long-form.

anyway i forgot my frist name yea my first name is kristen. but most people who are close to me call me Kris or krissy and then theres Kristie

Yay,history. x] Sure, Columbus "accidentally" found America (though, he didn't really find America...or, at least, the one he was looking for), but he certainly took land and claimed it as his own down the line and tried to get the Indians to convert to the "ways of the Christian". But yeah, the man had power in ways other than brute force, and when I say "commanding" I am referring more to the name than the actual character of the guy. Plus, it's a catchy name. x3

My name is Sheila Gazelle,to be honest i don't hate my name,in fact i like it so much now that i know what it means,
Sheila-means "heaven scent' or 'God's child' while
Gazelle-means 'graceful,gentle,fast and nice',my mother got my name from the Bible,that's why i love it so much!

The only thing I hate about my name is that I use my middle name, and have since I was 6, which leads to all sorts of confusion such as:

I now sign my name J. Scott which isn't that bad cause it looks cool, but it was a pain back when I first started doing it.

At school I had to register under my legal first name for obvious reasons (need a legal name on my diploma), but this means that on any attendance sheet I'm marked as Jeffrey and my login is jlepthie , so basically a teacher really has to know me if they actually call me by Scott. And I usually put J. Scott or Jeffrey Scott on the top of my papers to make sure its easy for them to match my paper with the name in their grade book.

Also since most teachers usually think I'm Jeffrey a bunch of people at school also think I go by Jeffrey which leads to confusion as I don't usually respond to that name. The good thing is I can easily tell which classmates knows me fairly well as they actually use Scott.

I don't even really know why I decided to go by my middle name, I think I thought Jeffrey was common or something... but I've gone by Scott so long I don't even think of myself as being named Jeffrey (kinda like Jeffrey is my middle name now).

But then he died a poor and lonely man because his land were taken off of him by the king and queen of spain. But i dont disagree with you Christopher rules as a name!
