Rabbit Hole

Darkness explodes from the edges steep,
Don't Look down it's time to leap,
Spinning twirling down you go,
Deep into the rabbit hole,

Pupils explode in the world of black,
Once inside there's no going back,
Hold onto the nothingness of empty space,
Keep your bearings with what isn't in front of your face,

Everyone is lost in this sea of uncertainty,
But in this hollow world only the blind can see,
Spinning twirling down we go,
Deep into the rabbit hole,

Turn upwards and watch the sky vanish,
Or perhaps you are looking down and only imagined,
In this place only the determined flourish,
Our emotions leave us burdened,

Nothing can allow you to move up once your headed down,
Hold your breath because in the darkness you drown,
Spinning twirling down this planet will go,
Deep into the rabbit hole,

This is life you needn't worry,
Passing everyone by in a devoid flurry,

Plummeting faster gloom engulfs our fear,
Deeper, Deeper, Deeper...
Are we falling? Or were we always here?
