Well, Pangya became kinda boring ... aka, we found a new toy to play with ... xD

I'm wondering if anyone is playing Silkroad ... it's a free MMORPG game, found here http://www.silkroadonline.net/

It can compare at all with the payable MMORPGs but it still has a lot of fun ... and it's darn long x_x;

I always wanted to play this one. My friend had it some time ago and bragged about it 24/7. I heard it's pretty much like Lineage II [Which I ABSOLUTELY adore]. Mmyeah, so I just might get it sometime in the near future.

Well, it's true ... lately there are lots of problems to connect to the servers when they are crowded .... especially since the image code verification is on x_x;; Lets hope they'll fix it soon ...

A few months again I'd play (I even have the installer), but I'm pretty pre-occupied with Burning Crusade to devote time to a second MMO.

Tried it out the other day. Pretty fun game I gatta say. Guess I will stick with it for awhile and see how it goes.

Well, don't be kinda surprised if you char attacks slowly ... there's a bug (2 days already) that's kinda delaying the attacks ... we are still waiting for it to be fixed x_x;

How many of those programs must you download to get it? I mean when I see to downloading the game itself the icon looks as though it hasn't it's own application and must be opened with another. (I haven't downloaded anything yet, only clicked to see what it would say. @.@')

When you lunch the game, it will begin self upgrading to the latest version ^_^

There are/may be 3 tipes of lag:
In Towns: There is and there's no way to get rid of it (especially in DownHang x_x) >_>; Due to may people and lots of stalls.
Out of towns: there shouldn't be one ... if it lags, check your graphic settings first, then check if you have some programs that slows down the comp and/or the net.
Attack delay: Well, also a lag, but it's more a bug. With the last update they screwed something and still haven't been able to fix it ;_;

It only took about 10 minutes for me to download the single file, and I was playing 5 minutes after that. It doesn't take very long at all.

The game is alright, but I got bored of it pretty quickly.

Any suggestions for a starting skill? I have upped my points to strength so far, I'm at level 4 I believe.

Ice = mostly on defense, has the weakest attack.
Lightning = offensive and speed, with "Piercing Force Series" has the strongest attack.
Fire = offensive and strength, the best for those that want to go with pure strength.

For glavie users the best would be pure strength + fire
Spear users mostly go with pure int + fire & lightning
Blade users it's suggested pure str and fire
Sword would be good with pure int + lightning & fire (ice is also nifty with swords)
Bow ... I've seen lots people suggest pure str and fire .... but personally I like pure int + lightning & ice (or fire instead of ice).

I tend to leen towards swords and ice. I love the range attacks that you get with the sword, and the speed that you can attack. With ice added to that, though it does not do more damage than other elements, you can freeze the enemy in their tracks. I had a high level character with pure lightning before, and I had gotten beaten by a lower level that had ice magic, so that's what I would go with.
