I tried to sign up but it kept jerking me around. I entered all my registration info correctly and kept getting this stupid "Registration" window that told me the email address was incorrect - it wasn't.

Then I filled out everything again and was told it had to be done again because "payment info" wasn't correct.

After three rounds of that I said screw it.

Officially level 15, and almost half way to 16 if I think so. I find the stalls fun to look at every once in a while, I was wandering around Jangan for 20 minutes the other day window shopping.

silkroad online, what a good game. you need a lot of time grinding to lvl up at later lvls especially the str blader,slowest lvling build but best in pvp. its hard to get back to the game once u tried other games out like flyff.
theres a lot of questless grinds too, for example lvl 40-45 and 53-59.

at GMT 10.00pm u can connect easier as most the europeans start to go to sleep (GMT+1)

Personally, I need like up to 20 tries before I can log in .... ok, during weekends this can turn up to 20 mins lol.

And I was just watching some people PVP outside of south gate Donwhang, and it's funny watching some people get owned.. I noticed a lot of people use spears and glavies... and then get owned by a blader.. Now that I think about it, I've never seen someone PVP with a bow xD

Ahh, I tried again last night. I don't know what's going on here.. It keeps giving me the same error messages, and I know its free which boggles my mind as well as to why it's asking for payment info.

I'm going to try again over lunch but I don't know, I haven't had any luck so far. Which is a shame because I'd like to give this a shot.

Still no luck. It's giving me the same email error followed by that crazy payment thing.

If anyone wants to create an account for me (maybe something is awry on my end) I would be appreciative and give you a city after I've conquered the world.

Really though, I want to try this game.

Im a lvl 51 glaiver so i dont know much about str bladers but they can tank well in wars and pvp. one other build ive yet to beat in pvp is a sword nuker.

bow suck in pvp so not many choose that build.
but apparently an int hybrid bow isnt bad so ive been told.

my build recommendations:
pure str blade
pure str glaiver
2:1 int hybrid spear nuker
pure int sword nuker (ive heard some people go int hybrid later on cos they cant compete well in jobs and job wars)
pure str bow

I just installed this yesterday and it took me about half an hour before I could log in and create a character and that was because all the servers were crowded and every time I tried a second time to connect I got disconnected and booted out of the game completely.

I think I'll stick to the games I have installed where I can stick my username and password in and connect straight away.

My main is a Lvl 38 Pure Str blade... and now I have a Lvl 21(Maybe 22, forgot >_>) Int hybrid Archer.. and a level 18(?) Full int Spear.

I've been planning to try and play this game a year back, but wasn't able to, which is probably due to my loyal passion for RagnarokOnline and two other OL games.

Now, I'm gonna give it a try. And why not?! Seeing as how you all liked it, it must really be a nice game.

TheWizzard: lvl34, it's a sword user, started as an int hybrid, but now I'm trying to convert it to pure int (can't help, screwed when I was still a noob xD). Uses cold (primary) and lightning (secondary)

Forbesii: archer lvl 26, currently int hybrid (not sure yet, but I may leave it as it is), also uses cold and lightning ^_^;;

But I am not dead on SRO and I'm running a Pure Int build, focusing on lightning and cold. Wizzy helped me set up my person for SP farming when I'm 32, but that's still a long way off. >_> Have to get there first. lol But going nuker, it's my fav. =D

Remove cold and go light/fire. Cold has the weakest nuke of the 3 elements. Flame wave burning is the strongest nuke you can get. Flame wave wide is just a cool looking AoE skill and Snow storm ice Rain is just a even cooler looking even weaker AoE skill.

Meh, I've stopped playing because my computer is kind of iffy. I got a level 6 hybrid build archer so far specializing in Lighting. I discovered that the five second selfbuff lightning skill plus the basic power shot kills every monster in my current farm zone. Cheap, but effective.

I use a nice SOM blade ^^
running around in the desert and killing some Demon Horse now. Really like this game, first and only MMORPG I'm playing

You shouldn't get too bored with that quest, there are going to be even more boring ones. The entire Patience Fruit quest comes to mind. -_-
