This year will make my hopes and aspirations come true or naught.. It's all or nothing as far as I'm concerned. I have one year to get what I need to get done.

What do I want? To become an Officer, leave this godforsaken base, and secure my future as a leader, and not a mere follower.

So, that is what I want. I don't plan on relying on "hoping" it will happen, rather I'll make it happen and trample anyone who tries to prevent that for me.

It's your job to do the possible and His job to do the impossible. You weren't made to just pray for everything you want, rather than work for it yourself.
