"The Pursuit of Happyness"

I saw this movie yesterday and what can I say. This is easily the best movie of the year in my book.

It came as a supprise to me as well, the movie had pretty much no action, sparse comedy, but it just mades you feel happy afterwards.... I guess that's why they call them "feel good" movies, but this is just much better than the other junky films in that catagory.

Has anyone else seen it, and what did you think? If you haven't seen it yet, I stongly reccomend it.

I'm going to go see it for only one reason: they shot a scene in my city X3! Most probably won't believe me, but I watched them shoot some kind of bus scene. I didn't get to meet Wil Smith, but I saw him. Yup, that scene was shot in Oakland, a couple blocks from my school.

After watching that 20/20 segment on The Pursuit Of Hapiness, I am all the more excited to see this movie. I like rags-to-riches stories like this. Once I get paid, I'm going to go see it.

It looks interesting, but I don't know if I'll see it. Will Smith has never been one of my favorite actors. His last film, Hitch, failed to impress me at all.

But then again, I pretty much see any movie that comes out.

I wish I could see it! It looks like such a good movie. I especially like that Will Smith and his son worked together in it.

It's been getting a LOT of hype as a probable award-winner. Although I hate that and think that movies should be hyped for their meaning, you can't deny that there is a purpose for this movie that isn't devoted to winning an award. I doubt I'll see it in theaters, but I'd like to check it out sometime.
