I swear, throw in one element of basic grafitti....Makes me all the more tempted to do something completely illegible...

Also, my name is on all my signatures. I've just gotten pretty good at hiding it. It's in a pale gray font just behind Suzaku's lower back. =p The XIII should be a bit easy to spot.

Tried something out, didn't work the way I wanted it to, and will require further experimentation. The main issue comes from the image of Urabe itself. Everything else went mostly according to plan.

9mm Parabellum Bullet, my favorite band if you exclude AKG. Bizarre looking, I know, but it's hard to come up with something that can visually represent their music, and I lot more work went into this than you'd think...mainly due to indecisiveness. O_o;

Generally speaking, your avas with pictures in them work a little better for me as opposed to the abstract ones and your ava/sig sets work better with brighter colours (the greyish ones get overlooked sometimes ;.
Whatever! This is just my silly opinion and they all look amazing on the whole.

I do love the abstract/grunge feelings of your sigs. I think its really cool how you did your latest one with the bright red being outlined with the gray border. The black+red combo works really well together and the simplicity of the sig is nicely composed. And I like how your avatars are always so strong.

Can't believe I haven't posted anything since Christmas. Doesn't feel like it's been that long. Well, I'm posting this now because 1) I want to use it, and 2) the thread will close in 2 days if I don't.

This time, OYA, who's full name I can't say here. The two lines are translated from the song "Mata Ashita" (See you tomorrow), which suzumi kindly translated for me. If I had to rank the bands I like this is my favorite band, right next to Asian Kung-Fu Generation and 9mm Parabellum Bullet.

Vivid colors! And they look good. I like the scan line effect you have going throughout the entire signature. The reflection is really cool as well. The square avatar looks good against the roundy signature. Perhaps you will update again?

Mio. Mio is the only reason you need to watch K-ON!, though K-ON! is great in and of itself.

Also, the clean-up on the image took friggen forever. Text to remove, a lot of recoloring to do, leveling, messing with the contrast, re-drawing a bunch of different parts (the image was cropped on both sides....notice that both sides are present in the sig...). I swear the clone tool is going to haunt my dreams tonight.

I just re-read the first Kino no Tabi novel for the 5th time, so my next set will probably be from that...I've got some interesting ideas...which involve a pen, some paper, and a scanner.

You should post links to the original images so that we could see all the cleanup you did.

The avatar is just so very awesome. The cyan effects on the eyes look really neat the way they seem sort of jumping on. I would like it if the black was a bit darker though.

The grunge effect is very nice. The background feels very solid and just strong. I don't think that whiteish glow behind the text looks that good though. And the text just seems to fall onto the sig randomly.

And I'm quite excited to see this paper, pen, and scanner signature.

This is not the forementioned set from above, though it is a Kino no Tabi set. That set is coming a long, but it's complicated, and I can't get the mechanics to work right. Yes...I said mechanics.

As for this one, two versions, because I am indecisive. I'm thinking about animating it so the 1st turns into the 2nd in a pretty nifty way...but things like that are always a pain, especially because the size of it will be changing and there'll be a lot of transparent crap going on. On top of that, I'm lazy.

So I should be working on something that suzumi wanted me to do, but that's coming along at it's own pace (ie extracting it is a pain)....buuuuuuuut, I got bored last night and put this together because I had nothing better to do. I also started working on a Kino no Tabi vector. Got all the lines done before I realized how nauseating it's going to be to color.

This from an upcoming anime called Canaan that will be airing in July, based on a story written by Kinoko Nasu and illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi (TYPE MOON co-founders) for a video game called 428: In a Blockaded Shibuya that came out in Japan a while ago for the Wii.

The original way I wanted to do it was with the text sticking out, but the edges got discolored, so I tried setting it inside the border.

I just wanted to say that , I looked at every piece you made . And you really bring out your style to every one of em , especially the Newest one .

Its clean , no rough edges . You really bring out something that I and the other sig makers barely do .

The cutout style . [mostly I think , and barely you ever made a plain border on the sigs . right ?]
