What ever happened to being launched off into space?

Being buried is my preference, but it won't really matter when I'm dead, so when it comes down to it I guess I don't care.

Whichever is easier for my family, I'll be dead, so what do I care? It's not like I'm going to re-inhabit my body, you know.

I'm with you. It's not that big of a deal for me. If buried, the worms would get to me and my corpse would decompose. If cremated, I'd be nothing but ashes, to be scattered...somewhere. Ah, I'll let my family choose (or bicker over it), when the time comes. I'd be dead - as long as its not degrading or completely barbaric, I don't see it as anything to get worked up about.

You're not going to break away from the sun's gravity well, so eventually you'll end up plunging into it (or another large celestial object). Either case, you burn. You might as well save a buck and get cremated.

I would like to be cremated...maybe because I hate enclosed spaces, but that wouldn't matter after I die...anyways I would like my ashes to be blown away in the wind.

Cremated. I do not like the thought of lying in a hole in the ground with bugs making me their new home. That just don't fly with me.

Oh! i have actually been thinking of this for a while. i would like to buried in very secluded place that had a lot of sentimental value to me, and preferable under a tree ^.^
meh no one would visit me though, my family would all be dead, and i would have no friends.

I'd like to be cremated. 1st of all you wouldn't have to worry about grave robbers robbing your grave before you die. 2nd I want my ashes to be spread over Japan that way my spirit can see what happens to it through out time after my passing. 3rd I'd rather be burned to ashes than be eaten by magots.

Actually...now that I think about it...I think I like that plan too. ^^;

I've always loved science and would like to contribute to it. As for my family, I guess I want them to be happy with my decision.

I'd want to be cremated, and then shipped to space o.o. Because then I'd finally be able to go to the moon XD!

I'd rather be cremated. Then I'd be portable and my family can keep me close to them but then I wouldn't want to be buried in Japanese graves. You'd end up being kept in a pot inside a slab of rock. On the other hand, if I were buried in the Middle East (where I also live), I don't think they'd come take care of the graves as much lol the choices the choices
