Do you prefer girls with or without makeup?

A guy I know told me a while ago that boys like girls wearing makeup. However, I know some boys who prefer them without it.
So, which is it? Do you prefer girls with or without makeup? This is a personal opinion question, so there is no right or wrong answer. Therefore, there is no reason to bag what other people say. So please... don't spam the topic.

For an everyday look, I've always thought the key is to make it look like you AREN'T wearing any. And lord knows most guys can't tell if they are or aren't.

Personally, I wear very little myself. I'm more hyped on making sure I wear some kind of sunblock. Also personally, I don't like seeing the makeup caked on someone's face. Moderation is key. Accentuate one, maybe two features...but not everything at once.

it is possible to wear makeup without it looking like you're wearing make up. I believe that guys prefer a natural look with make up, colors that enhance your features and match your skin tones, rather than an unnatural bright red lips and electric orange liner.

I agree. I'm not too big on makeup, I also wear very little. And I think too much makeup isn't 'attractive' at all. Foundation, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip liner, lip color, lip gloss, blush, mascara... Yeah, that is too much. I mean, if it looks pretty natural and the colors aren't screaming at everyone, then it's fine.

I know of some gals who constantly have to fix their face every 20 minutes with makeup. Now that's just crazy.
Sometimes I don't wear any at all, and just put on some flavored lip balm with a soft color...

Well, my boy friend prefers it when I dont have makeup on...which is good, because I hate wearing it. The only makeup Ill wear on an everyday basis is face powder, and only because my skin gets kinda oily, so I wear it to prevent that.

That's exactly my point too! I hate wearing make up. I've never put anything on my face in my whole life. Except I was forced to put some make up on my graduation day. But I removed it before the ceremony starts, lol^^;

I myself, pretty much... never wear make-up. I've been told that I look strange when I do wear make up. And that I look better without it. And I've been told that I look insanely gorgeous when I do wear it. (I've also been told that I look like a heroin addict when I wear make up so it really depends on how you wear it I guess...?)

I personally think some people SHOULD wear make up. Like not that they are ugly or anything. But for example, my sister doesn't look that pretty when she doesn't wear make up. But when she does, I think she's beautiful. Well, when she doesn't cake it on =D

It depends on the person. Like I perfer my sister with make up. But I'd perfer one of my friends without make up. (Like my guy friend whom's in a band. Really, the eye-liner thing is so totally gay looking.)

I wear it for special occasions, i.e. graduation, and every other day it's just Lip Smacker's "I can't believe it's not edible" lip balm.

Everything about this post made me laugh. Oh man. That is so true about the alien thing.

Ladies, when spending the night with a guy, washing the make up off at night is MUCH appreciated.

But yeah, I also prefer the girls not to wear make up day to day. That just makes it all that more amazing when they DO wear for a special occassion, and even then, using as little as possible does the job.

Girls don't need make up for day to day life. Guys like myself and most of my friends prefer to see the natural look and beauty of a girl.

True I can't tell the difference unless it is caked on and.....ewww. I honestly do not care unless it is caked on. If your face needs to be coverded up with make up put on a mask! Of course my ex hated it when she would say "do you like my make-up today?" I would be like "Your wearing make up?" and then..........SLAP!

Anyway, I answered "No" in the sense I feel girls look nicer without make-up. I've never seen a girl that looks "better" with it, I think the true beauty is how the girl looks naturally, not attempts to look like a Barbie-doll.

But, I know not all make-up used is to hide "imperfections" in order to look more attractive, some girls wear it for decorative reasons which I totally agree with and can look really cool.

From what I've heard make-up is a deffinate must for when a woman grows older, so to look younger - but I'm not yet old enough to have such an opinion ^^;

But honestly, nothing is worse than seeing a bunch of 13 year-old girls with their faces covered in make-up, it's just not natural.

I prefer no make up. Makeup takes away from the natural beauty. My logic goes as such, if you look amazing with makeup, then you still look damn good without it. But I prefer it without, since I hate most anything synthetic (Weird, is it not?)

Y'know, I sometimes where make-up and other times I don't....But, I kinda like having no make-up on it makes me feel free and able to not hide behind a mask.Everytime someone puts make-up on...mostly girls...they are hiding their real beauty and I for one think they shouldn't.....Even though I wear it sometimes. o.o
