Have you ever had a rival that you wanted to fight? Me and my friend Sherman are like that. We took special training by the same instructor. We were always at our best. Soon our parent's let us do a match before he left. We both ended up with a broke arm.It wasn't a pretty fight.

Well, I'll take this as rivals in general, not just for fighting. I did have a rival for some time, in the band program at school. We are both reputable high school drummers in our state, and we often compete for positions in big time bands. When our rivalry began, he was beating me out of positions that I would have otherwise. Now we're just about equal in playing ability.

No. I'm thirteen. But I have trained quite some time. We weren't in our "best" postion. But we did not want to kill eachother. We weren't might be as good as you thought, but we were tough.

anyways i have plenty of rivals. they change all the time. i pick them out so that i can better myself and generally it works! i work my tushie off to be like them

Oh yeah. I do have another one, his name is Paul. Me and him compete on our reading. He is alot better. I am starting to catch up though. Lucky me.

I don't really have a rival that I fight against or anything like that, but in a general sense, I did have a rival back in 5th grade; we were competitive with our brains, not our fists. Cordell, my former rival, came into my school in the 5th grade. I was one of the smartest kids in that entire school, but then Cordell came along and we battled to see who was the better student. My "A" had to be higher than his. My vocabulary had to trump his. But, in the end, we never settled who was better. I never saw him again, actually.

Well, not really. I've only been in one fight before, but I was seven. It was stupid.

I have a few rivals when it comes to grades; I'm always competing for the top grade in my class. I've never got into any fights over it before.

Well.....Me and one of my friends always compete on silly things just to see who can do what better. Its always in good nature though. Thats about the extent to a rivalry I got.

Well, it was only him I got in a fight with. Other rivals, such as Paul show me off. Say, "I'm to much for you." ; It comes down to a tie. I don't know. I catch onto things really quick.

My friend Jeff and I compete with EVERYTHING.

"You learned how to play scar tissue? I learned Bark at the moon"

"You got a 89 on the test? I GOT A 90! HA"

Stupid stuff like that.

We've done it since we were like...6 so whatever.

I also have a guitar rival. He's been playing for 6 years, and I've been playing for 2. But I've vowed to become better then him, so I spent all summer practicing, and I can play FASTER then him and I have more passion and style when playing, but he beats me in music knowlege, chords, and songwriting...so I'm still working on it.

I find the part of having "talked" to a hot girl funny in terms of competition.

And no, I am a pretty content and safe with my persona and character. Rivalry isn't really needed or wanted.

Oh he gets me so mad when he argues with me! I still want to repay him for the Punch To The Stomak he gave me after I had to use the restroom! The thing I hate most is that he is 5 years older than me, and I can't do anything to him. I'm to weak. Strange thing is that I started it heh I kinda was mad that he didn't let me in the house and he had locked the door behind him and wouldn't let me in. When he did let me in and after I used the restroom I went outside thinking that he wouldn't lock the door agian. When I got back from my trip outside, the door was locked and I started to bang on the door so that either one of my brothers would let me in. My rival brother was being a Donkey, and started to put boxes up infront of the door. The boxes where empty by the way. When he did finaly let me in, he had a great big grin on his face and said "sorry," RIGHT! Donkey! I was so furrious that I lept for his arm and bit his arm. He turned me just enuff to where he could get a clear shoot of my stomack and threw a powerfull yet slightly held back blow to my abdomin. I know it wasn't the wisest thing to do but who was there to correct him, my mother wasn't, mom's "friend" wasn't there either, and to add to that I was only 6.

Me and my best friend are rivals, we have been trying to top eachother ever since we were like 5 or something like that.If one of us get's something cool, or has something cool happen to them then the other makes it sound like nothing.

I have never had a rival. I hope I never do also. Yes, there are a few (actually only one) person I don't get a long with, but I wouldn't say we're rivals. So, nope I've never wanted to fight a rival that I've never had.

I think it is actualy imposibal to not have a rival. Dosn't rival mean there is someone who is better than you, and you want to surpass them, or they brag about how much better they are than you, and you just want to enialate them, or they are just better than you, and you just want to show them up. I think that either clarifys this or foggs it up more V.V i'm no exspert but I am an amature.

I used to have a best friend who stabbed me in the back (not literally, mind you) to get this one guy we were both crazy about. I didn't know she was in love with him..but she knew how I felt about him.

One week I went to a business seminar out of town and when I came back, she told me not to be mad at her, but she went ahead and told the guy she loved him and that they were now an "item".

Did I beat the crap out of her?

You bet your butt I did.

Then I tore him up as well.
