Does anyone here like Petshop of Horrors?

I do...even though it's kind of creepy...well, for me, the show's kind of "enlightening" in the sense that they point out life lessons, although in a morbid kind of way...plus, its concept is also quite unique...I think I have also read from somewhere that this one is already considered a "Classic"...

So, does anyone here also like Petshop of Horrors? I'm just wondering...

I like it very much. I'm still working through the manga, but I thought the anime was very good and it did have some quite genuinely creepy moments (those horrible rabbit/baby things! ). The 'lessons' the characters are taught are interesting too- if extremely harsh a lot of the time.

I have the first 5 volumes of the manga and I do enjoy it very much. I really like the humor. But, I've yet to see the anime.....~.~

I saw the anime (there were only four episodes). The anime was very creative, and the main theme was really original. Too bad the show cancelled.

I saw this anime a couple of weeks back. In my opinion, it was good..the storylines were interesting, as well as the characters. The animation itself could have been better, but all in all, it was decent.

It was interesting to see what the "moral" lesson were to be learned in the 4 episodes shown. The "Rabbit" one was indeed creepy, and I did like the mermaid one as well. (Talk about being 'One' with your lover..yeahhh..that took it to new levels..)

it was bloody and gory..and was fun to watch.

I've read a few of the mangas a while back, but I remember distinctly the style it was drawn in. I thought it was really cool. And then I found a manga called "The Tarot Cafe", and it used the same unique style. Does anyone know if they're by the same author?

I read the manga way back, and I loved it. The title caught my eyes and the plot just made me happy; I love how moral lessons are harsh instead of how most anime/manga treat such issues... it is more realistic that way and it's satisfying to witness some people get their dues ;D

Besides, the interaction between Count D. and Leon is always interesting :]
