I like Dashboard Confessional (I guess that was what you were attempting to spell) and Panic at the Disco, but not into the whole Emo culture. It's like a bunch of whinny suburban kids yelling about how their parents never understood them, how they want to do this-or-that to their bodies...crap like that. Yawn.

Let me tell you how much emo must die.
There are a few emo kids at my school, and there always have been and always will. I encountered a few emos, walked up and beat them senseless. The most i've done was broken 14 bones (wrist, ribs, shins, ankles... the lot) and causes a bacterial infection from the many lacerations I gave the stupid retard. (Yes, I was expelled from the 10th grade)
Other emos i've encountered i've attempted stabbing, burning, crushing with a large object, drowning, shooting... everything! You name it, i've tried it.
As far as i'm concerned, if you're emo and want to talk about suicide and post that crap on here go friggin do it and stop whining. Do the world a favor. No one likes you anyway, so STFU about it and go do it already!! You'll be helping everybody important in many ways.
All emo bands suck. Tremendously. And emo is not punk.
Punk is people with 5 inch long green mohawks playing nothing but barre chords on guitar and singing about killing people. Emo is a bunch of whimpy, whiney, losers who can't play guitar for crap and cry about everyday problems.

My first piece I'd love to say is that you shouldn't be so quick to wish death on another human being especially simply because they are different or more willing to express their emotions. There's nothing which justifies going around saying, "I wanna die cuz nobody understands me." but in some cases, this is true. "Some who live deserve to die, and some who die deserve to live. Can you give them judgment?" A quote which I won't soon forget, it applies to this very strongly, if you wish death on these people then you are doing nothing but condemning someone you know nothing about, simply because they are different. Grow up, mature, and start trying to actually understand your fellow people, and stop being so stuck up.
ON topic, I enjoy listening to some of the stuff simply because the lyrics are good and/or the music is good.

I hate emo. Emo as music sucks. Know why? Because music with lyrics that are english, yet I can't understand as english right away, sucks. I'm referring to actual emo/screamo bands. Not MCR or Dashboard Confessionals. No, actual emo. Although I dislike MCR too, because they pass that stuff of as rock. It's not. It sucks. "Helena"? Worst song I've heard in awhile.
And the fashion, they dress like watered-down goths. Girl pants shouldn't fit on guys. And I've never been able to understand the whole concern for hair. They treat it as if it was an exposed vital organ. I just don't care about anything concerning scene/emo/screamo. It's just a bad fad.

Emos are complainers that see that their problems are worse than anyone elses. Normally they have it much better than the rest of us and 90% of them just do it for the attention. They are spoiled brats that don't deserve to breathe good air. There is my rant.
Because it sounds like something crawled into the singer's throat and died, the guitarists have no skill other than making a bunch of disgusting "BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGG GGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" sounds on guitar.

Emo and punk are pretty awful, I think they pretty much mark the end of good music when guys who can't sing and a band who play like a average highschool band.Are taking over the music of the time, I don't have anything against people for what they listen to.But in my own opinon that I have right to say, emo and punk are just bad and by bad I don't mean in the cool way.
