doujinshi

i have to say im a little confused about douijinshi iv seen so much of it on god knows how many manga sites and love to save pictures from final fantasy 7 but no matter how i hunt i can't find enything like it to buy or download could someone please exsplain what doujinshi is to me i know its suposed to be fandrawn but how can you sell manga based on someone elses creation isnt it copyright and also does enyone one know where i can find doujinshi on final fantasy 7 perticuly reno thanks

Here's a tip...most people associate Doujin with Hentai, maybe you don't want to go brandishing that term around so liberally.

And I have no idea where to get an FF7 doujin...unless you want an H-Doujin, in that case well...google your own pr0n.

i had no idea it was hentai all the pictures i found where decent on decent sites i didnt know this was an offensive thing so i apologize for acidently offending enyone still is there eny decent doujinshi for ff7 and reno or are they all like that

good luck finding any fan comics that aren't of the hentai variety. the only way I could imagine finding anything would be to learn japanese and find an artist's site. or you could spend a couple of years scouring devArt to find one.

the reason that you can sell doujins in Japan is because they technically aren't the characters in the actual manga and anime. names get slightly modified, among other things, so that the characters aren't identical to ones in the copyrighted work. that, and Japan is big on the whole free speech thing, so a lot of H-Doujins are protected under that.
