Why there is always mad bad guys?

For example in Naruto: There is so many bad guys (and they are pretty same) which are normal and then you see they are bad and then in the end HE starts to laugh and HIS eyes are very big and ofcourse HE looks like a crazy one...Bad guys are always crazy BUT why they have to show it? What do you think? Any other examples?

Some people just feel the need to let out their inner self.. some people let it out in the strangest of ways but they probably believe that, THAT is the way to express themselves.

the purpose of it is to tell the viewers' what he's thinking/feeling..

if he is not to tell that to the viewers,

how will we, as viewers, know what they're feeling??

I think is possible that the reason they have bad guys who are "mad" is to make them more difficult to sympathise with. They are evil and insane, so you can't try and agree with their views because they are evil.

Just a convinient way to make things black and white.

Alot of villains are very angry people, and many of them like to express their anger. Usually through violence.

It is most definitely a way to prevent viewers from sympathizing with the "bad" side. If you look at a show like, oh, the original Gundam, there were very few people on the "bad" side that you couldn't sympathize with, and that's because they were obviously hateful and somewhat insane. It's a way to control which characters you like and which you don't.

i have another example: marakie from descadants of darkness hes wierd, hes mad, hes a murderer, and he has a freaky dragon eye, what more do you whant in a main villian?
