Final Fantasy XII o.O

I will say this, every series should have a stopping point, and Final Fantasy missed theirs with FFVIII.

Holy monkeys! I was not expecting so many posts on this...O-o

Anyway, I can read the kanji. That's why I got the game in it's original Japanese format. That-and I wanted to hear the original voice cast and see the lips move in-sync with the words. FFX was somewhat of a disappointment that way for me-because it was soo obvious they were not speaking English. That and Tidus was whiney and Yuna sounded like a hyper mouse on helium.

Though, I agree with Regex to a degree. Final Fantasy VIII is probably where the saga should have ended...But then again, new and better graphics will ultimately lure Square Enix (now-should still be Squaresoft in my opinion, but money talks) into creating newer and more graphic effiecient games. Ergo Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3 which is already in major progress...o.o

The Final Fantasy series will not end in my opinion. I mean come on, square has been making them since a long long time . With the release of FF 12, they're making FF 13 and I doubt it will end there

yea, FFXII now abit 'different'... the character designer is not tetsuya nomura anymore, but akihiro yoshida. is he gonna take the job from now on?

Not sure but all I know is that he was the one who made FF 7 ,FF 9 and FF 10 which are all my favourite rpgs

i love the fact you can look around in any direction (from what the vid showed). gonna make the whole feel of the game alot more free and nice ^_^
and those bunny girls are hot ~_^

FF wont end. it'll be like the james bond movies. lol. aslong as square enix makes money from it, they wont stop.

I played FF XII a little. The battle system is similar to Vagrant story. And don't think it's bad. IMHO it's pretty NYA ^_^

im in ove with all the final fantasy games but only a few i like the old ones best like VI

Eh, I'm just gonna wait til it comes out in the U.S. I don't read japanese, nor do I really feeling like learning the language, paying more for the game, and modding my PS2 just to play it a few months earlier. It does look like a pretty cool game though, so I could understand why you'd want to. Its just not worth it to me.

Well, lets face it. Some series just will not die. Sonic probably won't, Mario probably won't, Zelda probably won't, so I don't forsee Final Fantasy ending very quickly either. Heck, Dragon Quest is catching up rather rapidly to FF too. Mega Man also has quite a few games under its belt. Along with Resident Evil, and pretty much any sports series game that EA Sports makes. So Final Fantasy isn't the only one carrying the trend of long lasting series. I forsee them getting better (cuz after X-2, it can't get worse).

with each final fantasy game selling so well and making them sooooo much money (in both the game, guidebooks, models, lots of little extra things) i cant imagine them ever stopping.
like the mario party games almost O_o they're pretty much all the same, but they make money from it so they keep making more and more of em.

i love the fact you'll be able to move the camera around in 12 ^^ finaly get to explore towns and places more fully.
