AFI has released their new album "decemberunderground" today,
and I was wondering what you thought about this band!!

Then they released sing the sorrow (which is a good album) and got all emo

Hehe, yea, I love their album Art of Drowning, I think it was their best one ever..but I havent listened to their new one yet >.<

Its funny, I read on their official site that they intended to make their new album really different then their previous ones so the fans wouldn’t be bored,
but their new music's sound the same, even with more alternative metal in it, dontcha think? o.O

Yes!!! Girl, band, and strange creatures run around in some kinda foresty-thing...I never even noticed that before. To be honest, I prefer the Sour girl video with the evil bunnies and stuff. I didnt like how they gave the girl an anime bobble head in the girls not grey video

Afi is definitely hot. Their new CD is way good too, as are their old CDs. I've liked them for awhile and still have yet to see them live I heard they were way good, So I -have- to go see them soon then report back haha.

First three CDs, yes, absolutely. Go get them and learn what AFI was, and should still be, but sadly isn't.

Wester was a good song also. Can't remember if that was on Black Sails or The Art of Drowning.

But apart from Wester and their first three albums... AFI is a no go these days. They just don't do it like they used to, and that simply isn't good enough.

I've only heard one song by them (Miss Murder) but they annoy me a lot! That song just gets under my skin and drives me up the wall! I tolerated it when I first heard it now I want to bash my head every time I hear so I can get it out my head!

Hmm...I wasn't really into punk/emo music at all(I like Metal WAY more), but when I heard their song, "Silver and Cold", I thought they were pretty awesome. And now I'm liking the band, especially their new song "Miss Murder." I like how the beats go in the song...Really awesome.

Plus, the lead singer's gorgeous, lol.

Although Davey Havok claims that the meaning of AFI has always been A Fire Inside with Jade and Hunter, Answer That and Stay Fashionable is copyrighted to "Anthems For Insubordinates," and Very Proud of Ya lists contact information addressed to "Asking For It. " was the first AFI album to use the phrase "A Fire Inside" which is hidden on the inside of the CD case. Now if you take a look at that you can see that the band cannot make up its mind about the real name of thier band, I have been listenning to AFI since the release of " Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes " and i must say that i agree with what was said by Davey Havok in an Interview on MTV he said and i quote " We try and make our sound different on every album we have no set sound " i believe that is true, you take a look at thier older albums compared to the newer ones, thier sound is forever evolving.... I'm awaiting the reales of thier Album in my country, so i can see what has truely become of one of my favorite bands. well if this makes any senseto anyone I'm glad ><, and as for people calling AFI EMO well i have a couple of words for them F*ck You.

Afi, where to begin XD. Been my favorite band for 5 years. I got the new album the day it came out and I GOT THE DAVEY PIC!!!... anyway, great album, favorite song off of it is probably "The Interview". All-in-all, my favorite Afi song would have to be... either "Now the World", "Synesthesia", or "Morning Star", can't pick.

I love all thei sounds, from the punk to the goth to the slightly emo. It's all good, it's f-ing AFI!!

anyway, you were talking about them coming next week to toronto... I'M GOING! it's at the cool haus, its not sold out yet, you can still get a ticket. It's gonna be amazing. Not sure if i'll make the autograph thing at Sam the Record Man, but I'll try most definately.

So ya, i love them, and for the record, Davey Havok is the hottest man in the world.

Yeah, the new album.... Heard it today.

All I have to say is WOW.

Wow, as in "wow, there was more hype and over rating with this album than Halo 2".

And especially Miss Murder is way over rated. It is not that great of a song, it is OK at best. I don't like how it is off beat and sort of anti-rhythmic. Worst of all, it sounds like a song off of American Idiot. And I won't even get started on Green Day.
