Bands you just can't stand but used to love.

So...what are some bands that you used to love, but then outgrew and can no longer stand?
For me, The Beatles come to mind. I used to like them, but then realized how over-rated they are. They aren't even that good. Grant it they set ground for rock, better things came because of it.
Jimmi Hendrix
I used to love him, but so many people out there love him just because he's jimmi hendrix and they act like he's the greatest guitarist ever (some people say clapton is, i could care less about him either). Jimmi is good, but not amazing to the point where people all over can't duplicate his songs in their garrage.
Cream.
I never really loved them, just liked them. But after a while they started to get on my nerves, so I outgrew them.
Slipknot.

It is sad, but i use to love listening to Simple Plan...their songs keep getting stuck in my head, one is in my head right now!GGGRRRR! See ya and thanks for asking...V6 is a good band...sang the theme song for Inuyasha-Change the World!!

Long Beach Dub Allstars.

I thought they would be awesome, because of Bud and Eric from Sublime being in it. I tried to like it, I really did. ;_; But, it's not the same without Brad Nowell. And you can't replace Brad Nowell with 5 other random island-wannabe dudes.

If there was one band that I used to love, but now want to put in a room and then blow up said room with them in it, it'd be them. I swear, I want to shoot the lead singer. He's cocky, Obnoxious, Stupid, and CAN'T SING FOR HIS LIFE. I think I know why they're called AC/DC. It's because the chord progression for ALL THEIR SONGS are either A-C, or D-C. Im not kidding. There's some E's thrown in there somewhere, but not enough to make a truly original song. Everything about this band is mediocre. Angus young is not the most underrated guitarist. He's underrated because he SUCKS, his solo's are the same thing over and OVER and OVER. It's like Yngwie Malmsteen, only with less talent.

I don't think you understand the importance of music. Hendrix isn't an amazing guitarist because he could play incredible riffs that no one else could be bothered to try to learn, but because he made great tunes; they had compatable and enjoyable rhythm and sound.

For me, it's Linkin Park. I was over them by the time I was 15. <_<;

Sometimes I take out their...uh...that red CD with the soldier on it and listen to a few songs then put it back in its place without touching it for a year again.

Linkin Park? First off, i HATE remixes. Everyone who remixes deserves to go to jail for stinking!!! and ever since JayZ came in, the songs aren't strong enough, but come to think of it, they were a bit weak before. I still like Faint, Session and Crawlin, though.
Britney Spears... Well, never liked her and never will.

Linkin Park used to be my favorite band
But I barely listen to them anymore
If someone were to play a song by LP, I can still, I don't know, rock out to it , I guess
Exept for their instrumental songs, that is, like "Session" and "Cure For The Itch"
But any of their other songs, like "Faint", "In The End", "Numb", or pretty much any song on their Meteora or Hybrid Theory CDs I still like
