Favorite Book Character
Whos you favorite book character? Why?
Note: This can be from any book it could be a childrens book I do not care.
My favorite book character is Remus Lupin from the Harry Potter series. The reason for this is because he seems calm and very polite. He also seems very intelligent. Also he is very handy dandy about being a werewolf.

Hmmm, let me see... I think either John Mandrake or Bartimeus. They're both from The Bartimeus trilogy. I'm not sure why John, but Bartimeus is funny.

Candide. I love how Voltaire uses Candide to provide a satire on French culture and society. Its an entertaining book, but it does bring up some serious issues, like violence and greed, through the trials and tribulations of Candide.

It's about an organization that's involved with magic, and rules over Great Britain. It has to do with John getting his revenge against his greatest enemy, and Bartimeus, John's djinn(genie), that helps him.
I'd also like to add Farold from the book: Never Trust A Dead Man. He's extremely sarcastic, which makes the book funny.

You guys would have probably never herd of a book called the Oracle because it's not very popular but this one guy I really like named Seth is really funny. I like all the wise-crack's and cockey people. Well that's Seth.
I also like Goth from Silverwing. Dustfinger from Inkheart. Scipio from the Theiflord. Then I like Gabool from Mariel of Redwall. Oh yeah, I USED to like Silas from the Da Vinci Code, but when I saw the movie he turned out way creepier than I imagined so I don't like him anymore.

Some of my favourites are Inspector Javert from Les Misérables. Although he represented the cruelty of Authority, it seems he is easier to relate to than the virtual saint that is Jean Valjean.
I also really like Alvyrin from Whell of Time, what could be cooler than the cold logic of the White Ajah combined with the evil of the Black Ajah?
And of course, last but not least, Michael Corleone from The Godfather. He has to be the coolest anti-hero ever.
Mine would have to be Saruyi from Memoirs of a Geshia and Alice from Alice and Wonderland, my top two favorite books
