Leaving School, Your reactions?

It was my last full day of school today. It's weird, I thought i'd be happy to leave highschool-in my younger years. But I'm really down about it. It's weird how you always want what you don't have. Tomorrows Leaving assembly ><;;

Just post your experiences, be it primary/highschool/college[Or the American terms xD]

Noo...I'm not asking for sympathy, just your reactions to the above happening-leaving school that is. How would you feel? What would you do? So on.

I remember when I did last year. It was great. I loved it. Yeah, I miss how easy it all was. And how simple life was. But hey, its all a part of growing up, isn't it?

I am happy to leave but sad because it is gonna be awhile before I see my friends again but I am happy because I am prepared to take the next step

I'll be graduating next year.
And it'll be rather strange, I guess, because I have no clue what I'm to do afterwards. But I don't think I'll weep, because I rarely do. xD I'll probably be all tough and fend off the hysterically weeping people, and act all together and hard.
...I always wonder how you can cry in public? Even though it's the thing to do to show your appreciation for the years spent in school, I'd find it extremely awkward.

When I graduated junior high, I couldn't stop laughing ^^
I was so impossibly happy all day, and it stayed for weeks. I didn't go to any party or anything, just left that damned building as soon as I could and ran all way home.

When I leave school I think I'll be happy, but I'm still in school for now. My summer is coming up and on June 8th I'm going to Colorado to see my grandparents.

I'm still in High School (Junior), but when I leave I might be a little sad. I might not see some of my friends as much, and the real world would be staring me right in the face. On the other hand, I'm sure I will be mostly happy to leave. Hmm, I wonder how College will turn out for me...?

I was certainly happy to leave Middle School, but I was pretty scared when I left Elementary school. I thought that Middle School would be so intimidating (and it was).

Well, for me, it is not only about leaving the last day of school, i leave school every school day. My reaction is most likely "yay lets go hang out!!!!!".

Actually, college is one of the best expirences in my life. Because not only is it just "go to class and work", it's "go to class, work, eat, talk, and go to the gym inbetween classes". It's great, you can do a lot of things.

Not to mention, there are plenty of parties to attend to. xD Annd.. LOTS of people to meet. And there's none of that "he said, she said" drama. That's .. again, HIGH school.

I've got a few years left. But, my brother is graduating in a few days, so it's kind of interesting to see how he's dealing with it and what goes on preparing for college.

Hmm. Will I be sad when I graduate? Maybe. It depends on how involved I decide to get in High School, which I plan on doing that a little more next year. Hey, 13 years of going though school and then suddenly switching off into a different area of your life sounds a little scary. But exciting at the same time.

Hell, I don't need to worry much yet. I'm still a Freshman. xD

Oho, I remember my last year of highschool. The graduation garb was nothing short of 60's fashion. If you didn't catch that joke, then there's nothing I can do to help you. Graduation is all about honoring past achievements, people who study too hard, and the class moron who finally gets to leave. Graduation lasts forever. My graduation seemed to last...at LEAST four hours. Maybe longer. It might have just felt that long because I wanted to leave, and get on with my life. Sure, graduation is a time of rejoice, but it's all just about celebration - you need to stop celebrating at one point and move on. The idea of graduation is good, but poorly executed in many cases. The graduation lasts too long, the speeches are cheesy, just always some small problem, but then again, that's life. I do enjoy to ramble.

Anyways, good luck with graduation - I suggest bringing something to do if you have a short attention span. If you don't bring anything, be prepared to nod off every once in awhile.

I thought when it was time for me to left high school it would be great but it wasnt i really miss not seein my friends as much we all went to difference colleges and i didnt have much fun at college and now i have left college and im working but its not as great as i thought it would be but i guess its apart of grownin up

ahh...school life...nothing can beat it...seriously...when I was goin college I thought that yes!!I finally won't be able to see that annoying teacher ohh yeah man!!but now my perception on that has change completely...seriously school life IS the best...nothing can beat school life....plus I almost lost contact with everybody except for some people that is living near my place or some very very close friends....*sigh*...still can't beat school life....missing the days where me and the whole class make fun of the teachers and all or tell jokes...T_T

I graduate next year; last night was the senior's graduation for my school. It was kinda weird sittin' there, and knowing that is 365 days or less, I would be in a cap and gown walking to recieve my diploma.

I'll be sad when I leave high school, but only because it means I probably won't be seeing many people I've known for all my life ever again. But it means the start of another chapter in my life, so it won't be all bad.

I don't have long until I leave, really. :P

In England at the age of 11 you enter highschool. For 5 years. You leave in Year11[last year of highschool] Then you can go onto college, then university[Like the American College =D]

And I've basically Graduated from High school*Sniffs* Now off to college, new teachers, new school, new friends etc.

I used to think I'd be extremly happy, no more darned teachers etc. But my friends! No more things I take for granted. Our eating area, the wall. It's quite depressing ><;; Lol my friend Chris and I realised no more tie Fridays!! Argh..oo. so to continue discussion, what will you miss the most? What actions/people etc.
