What is the best anime you have seen?

The title explains it very clearly that you are asked of what is the best anime of all the ones you have seen.

For me, the best anime is Naruto. It is very exciting and interesting.
Well, Hunter x Hunter and Gate Keepers are nice anime's too, but Naruto is better.

The best anime I've ever seen is Hunter x Hunter!
I like the story very much.
My second is Naruto. Though Hunter x Hunter is kinda bit older than Naruto I still like Hunter x Hunter better.
I don't know if any of you here have the same taste as me, but it's my own taste.

The best anime I've ever seen is Shaman King (I like the characters and the story very much). Second is FullMetal Alchemist and 3rd is Inuyasha (same reasons).

For it's Dragonball, Z and GT but, cuz' over I need to find new anime DBZ will always hold number one with me.

To be honest I like Inuyasha cuz' of Sesshomaru and the fighting nothing else. I also
like FMA cuz' it has a good story, great characters, and their senes humor nice too. But
for me at the moment, Naruto is the best anime it has everything I'm looking for in a
show.

I've never seen Hunter x Hunter yet but from the you guys are talking about it sounds nice.

I like all the Dragonballs too, and another one that i really like is One Piece (i'm downloading the subbed ones right now, so i havent seen them yet. i have seen the dubbed, they are ok but i bet the subbed are better...)

anyway ive also been watching naruto. someone at my school let me borrow his 172 eps on dvd's. i just finished those and they were really cool. btw does anyone know how many eps they've subbed so far?

Okay the best Anime I've seen so far has to be Madlax which quickly became my all time favorite Anime at least for now. It has amazing characters that are in creditably likeable. An interesting story which is paced out well and manages to hold your interest the whole way threw. All of that along with great animation and one of the greatest soundtracks I’ve ever heard in an Anime easily makes it the best title I’ve seen so far. Though two runners up for the title have to be Ultra Maniac and Stellvia.

• The first, Saikano. It has a huge emotional charge, and the characters are well-developed.
• Second, Escaflowne. The series has an excllent soundtrack, beautiful artwork, mechas, deep storyline, and definitively steampunk up to some extent.
• Third, Sakura Wars. It is steampunk, you know.

Without contest my all time favourite anime is:
Legend of Galactic Heroes.

This ultra epic anime spans 110 episodes and took nearly 10 years to make. The plot is so intricately written that it never has a second wasted. The cast of characters is absolutely huge (over 100), yet every character is well explored and fleshed out.

The storyline is absolutely second to none in scale and intricacy, with the ins and outs of the universe fully developed and explored. And yet, there are no good or bad guys, but both sides of the conflict are well explored through their own points of view.

Honourable mentions go to:
Zeta Gundam: Hands down, best Gundam ever.
Rose of Versailles: The French Revolution with the single coolest female lead ever.
Revolutionary Girl Utena: Multi layered twisted plot, with wonderful twists and turns at every corner.
Turn A Gundam: It breathed a new life into Gundam, a shame that SEED did not see its potential in trying to do something different.

The best anime I have seen is Furuba. Furuba has a lot of love triangles in it which make it so interesting.
