there my favorite band. liked them before they were famous 2 years ago. memorized all lyrics to all songs. only band that has an album that i can sit and listen through the whole thing.

heh i actually like the band strangly. there more of a emo type band but even thought they are there music sparks my attention.

They're alright, they have catchy lyrics, and a decent guitarist.

Their entire song collection is based off of books written by Chuck Palhanuik, if you didn't know that, now you do. He, however, is a lot better writer than they are musicians.

I hate...no...I DESPISE this band. They're a boring Pseudo punk band that pretends to be Punk when in fact they're some unholy bastard child of Emo and Punk. They're guitarist is decent, nothing exciting in the least though, But I suppose he could hold his own. I listened to this band for like...a day and frankly I think they suck. I can't understand why everyone's all of a sudden so obsessed with them. Listening to them doesn't make you cool.

Before I even heard about the group, a girl I know in one of my classes was talking about how awesome they were and how they were her favorite group. So, I checked out some stuff out of curiosity on them. I was kind of dissapointed when I found out they were another cheesy Emo/wannabe-Indie band. <_<

Honestly, I think all of these MCR and Fall Out Boy and whoever else is hip and popular at the time bands have no originality. They just copy off of one another and do the same thing just because it sells and they make millions off of their so-called 'style'. They do it for the money, not the music.
So, what happens when their 'style' isn't popular anymore? Do they just switch their music around so it's now cool to listen to?

I don't see what's so great about all of this corky Punk rip-off music. I really don't.

I like P!ATD. But they do sound a whole lot like Fall Out Boy. P!ATD cusses more in their songs though, but still they're really cool. I just started listening to them a few days ago. Plz, rep me I need it, people have been bad repping me since I like Green Day, WTF is wrong with Green Day?

ok... hypothetically speaking, what if you "liked" the songs this band had created. would any of the reasons you just explain be a reason not to like them? and if it would, why?

what is music to you? music? or something else. Why would you even consider urban culture as a reason not to like a specific genre of muisc?

Panic! At The Disco, is so terrible.

This is worse than the Chevelle epidemic that hit a couple years back.

What makes PATD worse than Chevelle is the scenster style and spin that goes with it, as to where at least Chevelle was only pop.

I'll never understand how the meida suckers in so many of you, so easily. All hail MTV, right?

Panic! At The Disco are great! one of my top ten fave bands, i don't know why people judge them the same as Fall boy boy o_O. Now they're horrible...except for one or two of their songs xD.

Um...this band is like all other new age groups...you could find the same sound same lyrical concepts in similar bands...its annoying to hear that people find bands like these enjoyable for the same reason why I cant stand Fall Out Boy...Repitition in both lyrics and writen music....I have heared the exact same melody of this band as I do with any other main stream band...no originality and so on....

For me, personally, yes. Sure, I could think the song was catchy, but seeing the stuff out on the mainstream circut these days and listening to the repetitiveness of the music coming from alot of the new Alternative bands, I wouldn't be able to take the band seriously. I like, well actually I want to be able to take a band or artist seriously (Not 'serious' like taking someone like Weird Al Yankovic seriously, because it's his music's purpose to be jokingly funny. Serious as in what does the music they make really mean to them, whether it's just for fame and money or from a more meaning filled down-to-earth aspect of it) before I decide to go out and buy their album.

Well, to me, music just isn't about a song, it's about the artist as well. Not saying that I have anything personally against Panic! or Fall Out Boy or any other band, I just find it all the same. The originality factor isn't there. Or else it's being overshadowed by stereotypes, but in this case, I don't think it is.

I can imagine listening to a song by Panic! At the Disco, enjoying about a minute of exctasy.

Then about five hours of frustration afterwards.

The way the lead singer sings the song makes me want to kill my self.
