Does anyone here own a sword?

I'm just curious. One of my friends at school is getting a katana for his birthday and has been showing us all what it looks like. So, I was just wondering, does anyone here own a sword? And if you do, what kind is it? Is it based off of any film or game? If you have pictures, please post them.

I have a few, although only two are high quality, and one is an antique.
I have:
3 katana
wakasashi
kodachi
double kodachi
naginata
French rapier
Rapier (antique, made in 1812, later used in the U.S. Civil War)
U.S. marine sabre
Hand-and-a-half sword (claymore)
Twin butterfly swords
Chinese officers sword

I also have to movie-themed swords:
One is the Blade sword, the other is from "House of Flying Daggers", katana-like in style, but the blade is about 4 inches wide.

I've been looking at them, and I'm still trying to find one that screams "YOU!" at me. Also: If you shop online, where do you shop?

The majority were gifts. I have a very rich great-uncle, who I honestly have seen very few times in my life, perhaps five or six, but every once in a while he sends out gifts to people in my family. Also, my grandfather has given me a few as gifts, and he is also very well off. I have only bought a few on my own.

And yes, I am obsessed. I loved bladed weaponry, knives, daggers, swords, throwing knives, shuriken, etc.

Yeah. I'm also looking for a Demon Eyes Kyo sword. What? If they can make Sephiroth's 68" Masamune, Kenshin's Reverse Blade, Squall Leonheart's revolver gunblade, and just about everything from Kill Bill and The Last Samurai; then they should be able to make Demon Eye Kyo's 59" blade.

Both me and my brother own a sword. His is called Saske (after Naruto). It's a katana, same as mine. Mine just a bit bigger and it's called Salite

I have a short sword and a non-functional katana. I would have bought more, and plan to eventually but I prefer to buy guns/rifles as I can put those to use while a sword will really just sit there..

they are family heirlooms. we keep them on the walls in their sheaths... i love looking at them, holding them... but for my self, i have a bokuto, shinai, and my favorite, the nihon-to!!

yes..i have several at home

i have 3 katanas all cased up...i have several fencing foils and even some epees...i have some of the smaller samurai swords...i think they are called tachis? and some wooden swords i use for practice...my dad has some other really long swords that are very old and he has some of the old spanish swords too...he also has a variety of ninja weapons that some guy sold to him like shurikens and kamas...but he wont let me have any of those...as for knives...i have a butterfly knife my dad gave to me...

i sure love weapons...
