How Busy Would you be Someday?

My english teacher asked us this for one of our journal topic...

How busy would you be someday?

all the things that you say "yea i will do that someday" will you ever really do it... for example is all the presidents and kings or whatever said " okay we will give everyone 24 hours to do everything they have ever wanted to do for free"
would you have time? the lesson of this is that you shouldnt hold off on the things you want to do. Why wait for someday to some when you have now?
i have learned a lot by this simple question. what does it mean to you?

Sometimes you have to wait for your dreams though, like I want so bad to go to L.A with my best friend and go vist all the bars that Motley Crue played in, and go to the Crazy Horse Too. I cant go out and do those things right now. So sometimes you have to wait for things but will always be up to you what you do with your life.

Dreams take a while to form the only way to make them come true is working non-stop which like people have already said don't wait forever just do your best and sooner or later you will have all the time in the world to do what you want to do.

Sometimes the right opportunity doesn't come along as quickly as you think it might, but in the end if you really want to do something, go somewhere, meet someone, ect, you will find a way. It depends on how strong-willed you are. If you have a strong enough will, you can do basically anything.

If you think something would be nice to do but have no real desire to back it up, then most likely you won't follow through with those plans.

That is an acception, If you can't do something because of your age or something like that. I noticed, I don't say, "Yea, ill do that someday." Therefor, when I was asked thow busy I would be... I had no reply. I Have no plans for someday. So, i guess someday really will never come for me!

As a 17 year-old junior kid in highschool as i think back in from my freshman year on, i had to do my homeworks and studying until midnight everyday. Even last year when i was a newbie, i loved this place but i could hardly get online. Now, i cannot control myself from getting online while doing homeworks. The "busy-ness" is controlling me to act in the stress. Im sure this isnt the busiest time in my life.

Im gonna be a senior and im sure of how busy i will be to ba able to graudate and to accomplish my highest goal. In the future after college, i know that i'll be attending the Animation University. Ive been there watching how students are working so freakin hard without sleeping. I'm positively sure that ill be just like those students overnight. Even after i graduate from Animation College and come out as a manga artist, im sure not all the artists would have at least 3-4 hrs of sleep, maybe less.

I believe everyone here on AF IS or WILL be very very busy/ If lives arent busy, then nobody or no one can accomplish anything like a stone.

You need to be motivated in order to do anything. If you have the time, ability and desire to do something... and yet you still dont do it, then youre simply not motivated enough to do it. I think your teacher is just trying to get students motivated to do their homework or some extra-curricular activities.

I think its a good idea to stir up some initiative in people, because most of the time i find that i could have done more things in the past. Time is precious. Use it wisely.

I doubt that was my teacher's intention, The people in my school could never get "doing there homework" out of that question... they're all not smart enough... She may have wanted to get us motivated, but not in that.. Some One said they wanted to visit egypt.. she replied "thats a nice thing to do, It's a great place." But, i could be wrong.. anyways i guess this is kind of a stupid topic..

This isnt a stupid topic. The stupid topics are the ones that get closed or deleted.

Im not sure how old you are, so i hope i dont put this too strongly. But you seem to be putting too much emphasis on my suggestion of homework. Now if you read my post again youll see that i said homework "or some extra-curricular activities". Hence, if they dont get motivated in studying, then they will get motivated to do other things. However, if a student was motivated to join an english story writing competition, then dont you think he/she would study harder and hence do his/her homework? And you shouldnt go assuming that ALL the people in your class arent smart enough (unless its a 'special' class). Every school has its 'geeks' who pursue their interests academically.

How busy would I be someday....depends. I want to work with computer hardware, maybe be a computer hardware technician, so how busy I'll be depends on how many people screw up their PCs. But at the same time I want to join the Army and go into the Royal Corp of Signals or the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, so that'll probably keep me busy. As for now, college keeps me busy....as I tend to leave the majority of my assignments till the last minute >___<

Oh yeah, i was thinking for a while about doing hip hop dancing and now ive finally enrolled in it. Figured it was better to do it now than later. Just felt like sharing that.

I plan on doing absolutely nothing with my life. I'm just going to get a small, dirty apartment and live the rest of my days watching the broken TV and eating out of the dumpster. Doesn't the life of a bum seem appealing to anyone else? You don't have to do anything! Hooray!
