ugh lets get this crud taken care of, i know some one who thinks "dunno" is pronounced (d-oo-no) while i think its pronounced (d-uh-no)

this is my las resourse, ive used my mom to explain to the other person, 3 people (parents and other person) agree. ive even used THE DICTIONARY.

I concluded that this is a really pointless thread. Because it's "don't know", if you like grammar. "Dunno" is for lazy people. Like "what's up" is now "sup." A shame.

you pronounce it by how its spelled. For it to be pronounced d-oo-no then it would have to be spelled donno. Since that isnt the case, dunno is pronounced: dun (sounds like done)-no. I mean serioulsy, how many tv shows and songs say the work dunno and your friend gets donno????

I've never heard anyone pronounce it 'd-oo-no'. Hell, I didn't even know you could say it that way..

It's 'd-uh-no'. But you can save yourself a whole lot of trouble if you just say 'don't know'. Less confusion, surprisingly.

Well...I pronounce the 'd' then say 'no' after. If somones asks me a question I'd say 'ah d'no' well thats how I say it.

I pronounce it Du-no but, if your friend insists on prnouncing it different then so be it, that is like saying someone says tomato wrong if you say it different, maybe they just would perfer to pronounce it there way and they dontt care about how you prnouce it. let them keep there opinion on how to say it...

Well I use proper grammer and say don't know but when I'm really busy multi-tasking I use dunno because I don't have time to type don't know. Don't can go with duh. I don't really know what I'm talking about actually right now. LOL I'm a little out of it but dunno is what think it is.
