I'm generally not a poetry writer. Not anymore. However, I dug this one up while going through my desk and decided it wasn't terrible. So rather than throw it out, here you go ^^;
Awake Again (working title...)
Awaken mornings Snow White
Hair black as pre-roasted coal;
Skin white as a first snowfall
and equally cold
From the countless stepmothers
and their cold, cold stares
Find protection in your seven little men
And do not deprive them your red cloak.
Do not run from the slimey frogs,
hairy beasts.
Do not choose breadcrumbs to line your path
else bring a spool of thread.
Lie sleeping 100 years
and awake in the Prince's arms.
Then awake again
grasping air.
