What's the greatest compliment you ever recieved?

So, what is the greatest or most sincere compliment you've ever recieved or given, and the reactions?

Mine would be when my then boyfriend and I were walking down a hallway, and he was checking out a girl farther ahead of us, when he realized he was looking at a mirror. That was sweet, and yes, he is really that ditzy sometimes.

This has to be the 'greatest' compliment I ever got. My ex and I were talking on the phone (at the time we were going out) and he was talking about how he doesn't want to take a black light in his room because of the 'stains' and he said "Don't worry, Hailey, if you were here, there'd be a lot more." And I just O.o;; "Errmmm...." O.<;; Then hung up the phone.

And a compliment that Brittybott said to the line checker as he was catching balls that went out of bounds for volleyball. "Way to grab those balls, Scott!!" He kinda just looked funny at us. xD

Well, I can't think of the greatest compliment I ever recieved, but I know a few nice ones. Like once a boy said "Grandma, is that an angel?". Hmm. Now that I think about it, I used to get called an angel a lot.

And than another one; "You'll look good. No matter what you'll look good."

Though I think he was just trying to be nice, it was still sweet.

the best comment that ive gotten was when someone told me i looked like a model and another one was when someone said that i look 19 when im really 15 ^_^

as for the jerk who bad reped me, telling me i suck, get a grip. its just a compliment. the reason i look older is because im TALL and the reason i look like a model is because im tall and skinny and people say im pretty as well. (doesnt plan on being a model though xp)

The best compliment that I've ever gotten was when a teacher of mine told me that I had a potential to become a great author... But... He is an old geezer... So I suppose he likes any story that has to do with history. *Cough*

Oh...I've actually received many wonderful comments. A favorite would probably be a regular pharmacy customer once telling me that they loved seeing me behind the counter because they knew "everything would be right." They went on to tell me I'm extremely capable and do a wonderful job.

With all the nastiness customers can give in that place, I wanted to jump over the counter and hug them ^^;

Well there are two I can think of. One time a couple of people wanted a copy of a poem i wrote because they said it was really great, and another time for a letter to santa section of our High school newspaper someone said i deserved anything i wanted because i am one of the nicest people ever. I appreciated it.

Ah...i get a lot of compliments actually, sometimes i don't like them, but i deal with them...i can't think of a best one...i like it when people compliment me on my hair...but that's not so important.

i have been told i'm mature for my age...which i thoroughly loved hearing...

i've been told i look older than i am, which i also loved...

but like aki's, my favourite compliments are when people tell me they like me for who i am, not for anything else...

best compliment i ever got was when me and this guy went to the party (it was formal) and he wrote a poem about how beautiful i was . i started crying when he was finished reading it.

Letsee, oh, I remembered a few more I've recieved, when I was working retail (something everyone should do at least once) I was asked out on several occasions, thoughI turned them down, I still thought it was nice. ...And then the one old guy who suggested I could be in porn. o.O

When I was leaving a school a while back all my friends made me a book that had so many sweet things in it. The ones I like the most are,"Whenever I was sad I could always come to you for a good laugh. You always made me feel better." the othr one was,"I always thought you had good fashion sense...Where do you get your clothes?" That really made my day when I was missing my friends from my old school.^^

My English teacher was telling all the other classes how much of a genius i was^^. And that my comments and answers on the written portion of the tests were very funny. He didn't actually say these things to me, but a lot of ppl came up to me to tell what he said. it meant a lot because literature is one of the things i think i'm good at, and also because i look up to my english teacher and i'm glad he thinks so highly of me. ^^

and I've been called god too. But the biggest serious compliment I got was in regards to my guitar playing being exceptional for the amount of time I've been playing

i love it when people look at my drawings or my sculptures and are like, "holy... did you do that?! can you make me something?!"

when my folks told me that they were proud of me after i made eagle scout.

I think mine would be when people compliment on my drawings. This guy once told me that I was a pro^^ I also hear people saying they wish they could draw like me. People also tell me I look pretty without my glasses^.^ Might not be the greatest compliments I've got but that's the only ones I can remember right now

I don't know if this counts but a guy once said "shut up, Kagome." cause he thought I looked like her.O.o That was the first time I ever heard that^_^; I guess it was sweet.
